What made me happy today was that I finally got my Botox for my migraines I was 3 weeks behind & was so sick till I got them. My neck & head was hurting me so bad. Now I'm back on track with my Botox. My next appt. Is on May 2. Jill I have the same problem like u with dry skin. But my arms bleed easily when I hit something & I showed it to my skin Dr. They called it bruised. My hands & face gets dry in the winter time.

Hi! So happy to have found your KZbin channel! I’m a mom with some grown children and still some underage but considering for quite a while to be a flight attendant. I really would love to work for your airline but I know they’re not hiring right now. My biggest question since you are probably somewhere in middle age like myself is how do u manage something like this being newer? And do you deal well with being too tired or are u able to keep your energy up? Just wondering! And loved this video! U got a new subscriber

Hi Amy! Welcome aboard ❤️ Age is seriously just a number at Southwest. I am 53 and was among the oldest but definitely were about 5-10 people older than me in my class. The age range among FA’s is wide and everyone works together so well!! It is tiring but I LOVE the work and as long as you are diligent about time management and getting sleep, you’ll be great!! I can’t wait to learn about your journey!!

I could sit at home for 5hrs and do nothing so easily but the thought of sitting at the airport for 5hrs and doing nothing is horrifying 😆🙈 I'd be thinking about all the other things I could be doing instead... Not the job for me... Although its pretty cool they pay you for that 🤷🏽♀️

If it's not too much to ask, how are you paid and how much per hour? It seems like a lot of work for what google says is your salary!
@cynthiagreenhill52837 ай бұрын
Yes that too much to ask😊
@itsthedonnellys7 ай бұрын
It is a lot of work and the pay isn’t great. But the benefits are amazing and if you stay in long enough, the pay increases exponentially. We are paid by a calculation that loosely relates to hourly.
@PthaloGreen219 күн бұрын
Most FAs start between 25 and 35 dollars per flight or block hour. You only get paid at most airlines when the plane is moving. Some pay you a fraction of your salary while boarding but most don't. No airline pays for sits between flights. You make between $2 and $3 per hour perdiem when you're on a trip. Bottom line is regional FA pay starts in the mid $20s for those who work a full schedule. Mainlines start around $35k. But pay goes up over time, maxing out after 10 to 20 years. It's not a high paying job.
@lauragoins9323Ай бұрын
Do you get paid for being on call or being on reserve?
@itsthedonnellysАй бұрын
Yes! There is a guaranteed minimum when you are on reserve. If you fly and go over that, you get paid the minimum plus whatever you went over :)
