Visiting the US from Canada frequently as a child and youth with my parents, I learned Americans are value freedom but even musk warned before the election there’s gonna be financial hardship if orange is elected. And they value the constitution but he warned that he will dissolve the constitution. Even if only for one day, american of my youth would not stand for that rhetoric. Mocking veterans?! No way! As a matter of fact, the person they voted for seems to hate this country because he’s doing everything he can to destroy it and to divide us just a little farther apart every day. This was our last election. I love my country and I cry when I hear this. It’s so dystopian and bleak. This is the time I thought I'd have family to gather with and they've turned their backs. Not just on me but Jesus and his word and they don't even see it. I don't understand anything anymore. @ I agree with you and I feel your pain. The only thing I can say is that these “Christians” are helping God separate the wheat from the chaff. They voted for a man so incredibly dishonest, morally bankrupt and who supports dictatorships who torture and imprison their own people for simply disagreeing or trying to leave. They will not get through the gate. That is the only consolation I have and we need to keep reading the teachings of Christ and be grateful that ours eyes are open. We see what Trump is and the plan he has. I pray for those he will harm - the innocent ones. It’s weird but I pray for the natural beauty in America, our national parks. He will destroy them with oil drilling. He cares nothing for anyone or anything except himself. If people protest, he will use the military against them. He has said he has wanted to do that. The devil is very powerful and he can sway people easily if they listen too much to what others say. That sounds like your family and many others right now. We have very dark times ahead and I have no comfort for myself, much less anyone else but I am with you in heart and soul.
