I struggle with sin but increasingly I am learning to lay my troubles upon the Lord and seek His solace. I have also begun reciting the Jesus Prayer frequently, and whenever I encounter trouble. @@M-i-k-a-e-lyou give it the possibility, as do I. It's so obvious. Isaac the Syrian says the Satanic has no true nature in itself, but yet it is free will turned against God. Adam blamed Eve and Eve blamed the serpent for this evil. They all passed the buck to the other instead of taking personal responsibly. The most haunting words of the Pharisee(in the parable of the Pharisee and tax collector)are "I'm not like other men"... he too thought he "transcended" this evil and it could not possibly be in him.
