Not to toot my own horn, but when I fly out here in PA, I'm a local celebrity. Kids love me, parents love me, and I have yet to meet anyone that didn't want to see me takeoff and fly overhead. It's not that I'm turning a blind eye to the negativity of people in the world, no no. It's that I choose to fight it with aggresive enthusiasm. My love for this sport is so strong and so clear, that no one could possibly see it any other way. Stand your ground with a smile, fellow pilots. WE are the face of the sport. Thanks for this video. A couple weeks ago I was at a bar having wings next to a drunk man, and when I mentioned that I flew a paramotor to the bartender, the drunk guy leaned over and told me I should be careful mentioning that around here because of recent events and reminded me that a lot of people in this area have guns... He proceeded to go on a ridiculous rant that I mostly ignored until I could finish my wings and leave. It was really disheartening.

Thanks for doing this. I was a civilian contractor in Oman and we had a coworker that flew with a couple locals. I thought about them when this happened. That’s what brought the two cultures together was paramotoring.

Awesome views around Zion. You continuously give a positive image to this sport. I too was set back a bit by the extreme negative activities of certain paramotor pilots from Gaza. Evil intention will find whatever means. All the innocent caught in between is mind blowing. Out of our control. All we can do is live righteously and try to be an example to others. Your love for this sport and cinematography accomplishes some of that I believe. Peace.✌

I feel like some of the negativity wouldn't be there if not for the novelty of paramotors. I don't remember anyone taking issue with the actual planes used in 9/11 and I certainly didn't see anyone switch attitudes on guns when those were used in the same situation. I kinda think people just make the negative paramotor association because that is the place they first saw them. Hopefully this video will open a mind or two. Also it's just a really pretty video visually and emotionally.

I had to cancel a demo flight at a GA flyin recently over the "optics" issue, Ive also had to modify what I wear since a Para Ninja is not a good look. Im guessing they are going to regulate us to death like everything else, I recently went to a motorcycle park and my god the regulation around just riding a dirt bike around a dirt field was off the charts, serial numbers, licenses, full body safety gear, nanny state bs and rules that went on forever.. looked like the most un fun thing ever, no wonder most Californians just sit at home and do drugs, its about the only unregulated thing they have left.
