Thats fished its head off compared to our last winter league match lol, we had to break the ice, i had one bite off a 5-3-0 common and won the match there was only 3 catchers. I caught it in the last 15 minutes honestly thought i was going to blank, well done on a rock hard day Joe at least you caught mate. 👍

Tip for you hold the side button of the phone and go “Siri set a timer for 5 minutes “ you can do it whilst the screen is locked to so it’s loads quicker 👌

Tough conditions lol 😂......look like a summers day .........try a N/E wind....a little over freezing temp......fishing a 6 hour match....size 22h...8oz bottom.....single pinkie threaded on!!......all for a single small gudgeon to win the match lol .....your best Freind was a huge flask of coffee 🙂.......those were the days...... and dont regret a single minute 💜👍

Thanks for the video Joe Would you do anything different if same match again? Is there any head of silvers in there? Would it of been worth laying down some ground bait and dead reds in one swim for silvers? I always do it just as an option and often end up seeing bubbles and get some fish….

What's made you change to the airity rods pal. But not tdr reels? I love my supera rods but much prefer daiwa reels. (No criticism just interested in your thought process)
