Here in the US as well. It's only April and it's already like 26C when it's normally 15C. And we have gotten NO rain when it normally rains all of April. We also didn't get any snow this year. :(

Oh dear. The dust sounds terrible. Even though it’s cold in Canada, the air is typically very clear. We only experience poor air quality with the forest fires in the west at times in the summer. Some of the smoke comes from the fires in California as well.😊 I never appreciated how clean our air was until I went to China the first time. It was then I realized how lucky I was to live in Canada in terms of air quality.

It didn't occur to me until fairly recently that cherry blossom season is SO short! Growing up, I always thought it went on for over a month, but now that I know it passes by in basically the blink of an eye, I understand why locals and tourists flock to the trees in droves while the flowers are in bloom. It’s interesting to hear about your yellow dust. I live in the east coast of the US and we get yellow dust as well similar to that but it’s all pollen from trees they will last a few hours for a few days during the beginning of spring

I live in GA 45 min north of downtown Atlanta and we get our share of the yellow pollen from the pine trees. This year the timeframe for the season lasted 1.5 months from late Feb to mid April. Thankfully it's just tree pollen and not pollutants.

I got back from Korea late last month just before the air quality got REALLY bad. I think the worst it was while I was there was in the 160's... and I thought that was just the worst... now I see it at almost 300 some days! There is a mountain outside of my boyfriend's parent's house in Jeonju, and I actually through that clouds were covering it when the dust got really bad the first day....lol

Belated Happy Birthday Kyuho! I lived in southern Germany 30 years ago and we would get sand coming from the Sahara every spring; of course, those winds were coming over the Mediterranean Sea and you are getting them straight from China, with all the industrialization there. I guess we will plan our eventual trip to Korea for the autumn! 😊 I can imagine it would really be a pain to be a tourist, so excited for cherry blossom season, but to come across dust storms instead!

Last summer my car here in Germany looked just like the car you showed at 12:45.😅 We get the occasional Sahara desert sand blown north into central Europe in the summer time, depending on the weather and wind patterns coming from the Atlantic Ocean. Luckily that sand dust is not polluted and it is only somewhat annoying for car owners as far as I know. Hopefully your air quality get's better soon!

It’s hard to not be outside if you have to go to work, run errands, etc. Otherwise, Seoul is a beautiful city. Maybe you could live in Canada and vacation in Seoul. 🤔
