It was a wheel chair elevator that the Veteran and Para Olympian needed, who was offered MAiD instead. You're talking about a country that will not cover Naturopathic healthcare and the "healthcare" available can be so lacking, that people with the money, leave the country to get LIFE SAVING treatment. I knew someone who took the MAiD option because she couldn't get the medical care she needed. I read an article in a Vancouver Island newspaper where a disabled man couldn't get 24 hour care was offered MAiD and went that route. I heard a (secret) recording where a sick man in a hospital was being pressured to take MAiD because his hospital care is too expensive and they actually threatened billing him if he didn't accept MAiD. A young woman in Ontario was paralyzed by the experimental injection during the LOCKDOWN and was offered MAiD hours after telling her that she would never walk again. These are just a few examples! If 1 in 20 doesn't concern you, then maybe you need to START PAYING ATTENTION.
