Reaper along with Starcaller and Templar are my fav classes so far with Templar being number 1 because i love carpal tunnel specs and Templar reduces its own GCD so much

Something I'm noticing that is turning me off of CoA is how complex they're making all of these classes. Feels like they're trying to create their own version of Retail WoW, and I'm not a fan. I guess some will be. From Templars and Felsworn revolving around a bunch of different combos, to this with the extra resource system that is basically shadowy combo points with more points, idk... just not feeling it. Give me something simple like the original Demon Hunter from Legion. Is there anything like this without 18 different resources and cooldowns and combos to keep track of?

In terms of numbers, where does the team want CoA to feel like? Vanilla? V+? Wotlk? Retail? Current Ascension? I just don't really like doing 10 - 30k DPS with 6k HP, then going into pvp and my abilities are nerfed by 75 - 95% making it next to impossible to tell what is good for damage in pvp due to such a vast difference in pve number bloat.

As I understood so far by playing and lsitening and reading, they want the numbers to be closest to Vanilla. As for now at least, as vanilla is the only expansion possible now for CoA. It will definitely not be Ascension realms like. It's more of vanilla+ experience oriented.

Harvester doesn't replenish HP enough, that or the abilities take too much. Compared to Soul levelling it isn't fun.

@@sztachu "Reapers" and reaper lore all stem around death. Death is not magical, death is real. Diseases are real, curses are magical.

@@svt80221 well death in wow is something bigger than just "real", for example shadowlands? Wrath of the lich king? It keeps going, diseases just dont make sense for a reaper that does something more than just "death=you die"., they harm your soul etc, soul in wow isnt "physical" in a way. You could easily say that in wow, death = magic in some way, because you dont just die and thats it.

@@sztachu Shadowlands, one of the worse lore expansion where they retconned ton of stuff and backed themselves into a corner? Yea, we don't talk about Shadowlands. Death is a physical occurrence, it's not a "magical" one, it isn't a curse or a spell even if those can bring it on. It's irrelevant what the lore is after you die, the point is that the act of dying or death is a physical one, not a magical one.

@@svt80221 I agree with shadowlands being shit, I've played it, sadly, but the point is, at least for me, that repears spreading diseas doesnt make that much sense in wow in my opinion, I just dont see it, maybe if there was some sort of a plague reaper spec? I wouldn't mind that, but just in general, reapers also dont exist, death exist, so just because death is real, doesnt mean repear is, so I think magic here has a bit more sense for me.
