I must say I am really enjoying Sean on the show. What a gentle giant he seems to be? It is clear that Dennis attracts genuinely good people. I previously commented to Sean (perhaps inappropriately). I sincerely hope that God sees what a good man he is and gives Sean some fortitude, too. Have a lovely Christmas

Dennis Prager, has promoted so many great people with PragerU and other Dennis Prager projects , that we are still getting great content. A great leader will let the people around take the lead, so the great leader then can do more.

Sean you are a wonderful fill-in for Dennis, but I will be so happy to have Dennis back in that seat and you back whispering in his ear. You and Julie are great together and thank you both for keeping us informed about Dennis’s progress and for all your pearls of wisdom. Best wishes to all for a beautiful holiday and many prayers for Dennis to continue to heal and progress quickly to wellness and be back in his rightful place not only with Dennis and Julie but in all his media outlets…

I loved this show immensely. Especially, the discussion of the 5 Pillars of Reformation Truth by Martin Luther. There are so many words of God that confirms these pillars. So much to share and so little time. Keep seeking the Lord God and the truth of His word that is in the Holy Scripture. Shalom.

Thinking of Dennis Prager every single day. Many people have never met Dennis or even spoken to him on the phone, yet he has had such an enormous impact on people's lives. May God bless him and his family. And we are all equally appreciative of Julie and Sean, for keeping these podcasts going. Wishing you both a most joyous holiday season.🎄

Ongoing prayers for Dennis! Miss him so much!🙏🏽 Sean, none of us are worthy to be in God’s holy presence. But “God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.” 2 Corinthians 5:21 Called “the great exchange”, that is what confers to us worthiness-Christ’s perfect righteousness covering all of our sin if we have placed our faith in Him. Also there’s the promise that “if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse of all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9. You may not even see this, but if you do, I hope it helps.🤞🏽 Thanks for being on today’s show!

Watch today's first service at Calvary Chapel Chino Hills. It goes into why Christmas is celebrated on Dec. 25th and why it is actually close, if not correct. The second service was a history of St. Nicholas.

Julie, Jesus looked like a thirty year old man living in the Levant 2,000 or so years ago.

Julie, remember the passage where they tried to kill Jesus in Nazareth & He passed through them & went His way. So Jesus look just like any other male person in Israel at the time of His birth. Unless you knew who He was, he would pass by without you realising it. I too, hate the paintings, actors who make Jesus look like a sook!! He was a tough Jewish man who didn't look any different to anybody else. Shaun is a very wise man, he underrates himself!! I haven't had a christmas tree since the 1980s & haven't even put any decorations up this year. I don't celebrate Christmas like the world does, I use the time to visit my family. This year I thought that I might celebrate Hanukkah from 25th December along with my Jewish friends as it is a time of lights that reminds us that Jesus is the Light of the World. As a child I grew up in a family who never had a tree etc. Christmas was a time of summer holidays & presents in our pillow cases that we opened sitting on our parents bed. I taught my children that we celebrate the Christmas season to remember the birth of Jesus & give one another a gift. We did have a tree & I decorated the house but after 1988 christmas was over for me as our family broke up.

Jesus is known as the Tree of Life. The Christmas Tree and the Menorah and the Genealogical Family Tree are derivatives of the Tree of Life. Ladies and Gentlemen, Jesus is everywhere.

47:45 Jesus being a pharasee kinda debunked the idea of sola scriptura at least for the old testament just random point also Purim and chanuka same deal
@louisebrislane660726 күн бұрын
The book of Hebrews explains that Jesus is God in human form, He was begotten not created. The Father still exists in spirit & the Son is in a spiritual but human form, then you have the Holy Spirit who is the Spirit of both the Father & the Son. The difference between Catholics & Protestants is that the Scriptures teach us that we cannot be saved by our works & we Protestants believe that whereas Catholics are taught that good works will save them. We have to come with empty hands acknowledging that we are sinners & nothing that we can do will be good enough to save us. We also do not believe that the bread is the body of Christ as the Catholics do. It is a memorial service, Christ is no longer on the cross being crucified, He is in heaven on the right side of God the Father interceding on our behalf.

Dennis spoke how the laws of slaughter prove the oral law in the so called old testament so Dennis definitely not sola scriptura
@louisebrislane660726 күн бұрын
Yes, in the beginning God created the world & the universe around it but He created it perfectly. There was NO sin or death on the earth UNTIL Adam sinned!! Then sin entered in & animals started killing one another as did man. So all animals & humans until Adam's sin ate plants & not flesh!!!

Bingo. You got it Julie. There is one God. The trinity is not correct. Look up oneness of God. There is probably 85 to 90 % of so called Christians that believes in 3 gods(persons).

The problem is that Jesus was never the reason for the season. Christians co-opted the ancient Winter Solstice festival from the Pagans and Norse which just so happened to be on December 25th where they honored the Sun God ("Son of God" - ironic isn't it?) Mithra. If Jesus existed, he wasn't born on Dec 25th. It was just a date chosen by the Church. I have no problem with people believing in God or Jesus but the "Jesus is the reason for the season!" stuff is pretty ignorant.
@BenLujan-r5q26 күн бұрын
You're being naive. Let's say Dec. 25th began as a Pagan festival. And Christians "co-opted" the day as to apply it to the birthday of the Christ. So what?! It's not what it WAS (a long time ago, no less), but what it has BECOME. Indeed, what started as a Pagan ritual likely would be GONE today (not many honour Mithra today, true?) if not for what Christians did. To be sure, for that reason -- the so-called co-opting -- Christmas has become the most significant holiday in the Western World, if not globally. (They celebrate it in Japan, now.) Put differently: Los Angeles began as part-swamp and part-desert -- until Europeans made it into the modern leviathan it is today. (All of America, in fact.) Football began as a game played on muddy fields and observed by few -- today it's viewed around the planet (especially the Super Bowl). . PS: Doesn't Easter contain some elements of Paganism, too? And where, pray-tell, would that event be today if remaining Pagan? Again, it was the Christians who made the day into a worldwide phenomenon -- and, thus, Jesus the Christ VERY MUCH constitutes the "reason for the season" vis-a-vis those majestic holidays!

In Judaism, the belief that God can be in human form is idolatry. It is strictly forbidden to believe that God can have any physical form. This was why the sin of the golden calf when the Jews were in the desert after the Exodus was such a big sin.
