As a former chef, I was impressed with the education you have presented your viewers. The sauce you made was a buerre blanc, it's one of my favorite easy sauces to make. Good job. If people cant afford your blue tooth instant read, there are thermometers out there that can probe the protein, but is attached to a chord that is oven safe, and the digital screen sits outside. I think it's somewhere around $30 bucks.

So NOW you've explained the whole temp thing and why not to wash the chicken you just made this 54 year old southern born and bred, pretty dang decent cook a believer in the no wash and I'll now be following your temp reccs as well! Definitely grabbing that bluetooth thermometer!

I’d like to say I’m a pretty good cook, but you taught me some things today! Can’t wait to try this method of pulling my chicken at 145 and letting it rest. Also, ordering this thermometer and splash guard! I have the thermometer that has the metal like wire so you can still have the monitor outside of the oven (think they are more common for grilling or smoking) and I burn myself on it every time and anyway to shorten kitchen clean up is a win, these are genius! Thank you, loving your content lately 💕
