Unless you are rich or you can work on your own car and you know your way around diagnostics stay clear from Beemers they are great cars to drive but they are high maintenance and many components need to be coded to the car.

I agree with you Alex. I drive a VWPolo and it’s quite expensive when it comes to maintenance and running especially the servicing and the premium fuel. But it has been a very reliable car, well.. for me at least. And it’s a fun car to drive around. On that note, I’m going to get in my car and drive to the children’s hospital for yet another busy day. Bye 💛😄

You're so right, unfortunately BMW lately has not being really safe in the terms you mentioned. Here in Chile, has been decreasing the values of bmw's (it's not like the value of a Nissan Tiida or sth like that 😁 but it's been more affordable, for people wanting to get a new car, here it's has become easier to buy a new car rather than a used one since the pandemic started) the most demanded cars are Japanese or Korean and some from the US, because all the pros you mentioned. For example my das has a Kia truck (I know it's from South Korea) but ever since he got it, the only work extra repair he has done like in 5 years of having it , it's been taking to the electrician the Truck because the street dogs we adopted ate the wires 😂 but not because something else failed. Imagine that he loads more than 500 kg between all what he uses and until now, nothing has failed (my dad also does the regular check ups too). Just as you said, why buying such an expensive car just to impress, we must look always in the long term, we're not in times were we can dismiss things that easily. Always giving good advices 👌 I love that! Ps: I love your sunglasses, I have a pair of Jack, sunglasses similar to yours!

even my dad loves bmw and all but he has the same point .. reliability ..thats why he went in for toyota ..we actually have 3 cars the 1st one being a volkswagon vento 2013 model and the second being a toyota fortuner and the new one being the toyota hilux 2022 since it just launched in india

Hi, Alex! I own a Volkswagen Golf 5, 1.9 TDI and honestly the costs for this car are pretty big, i mean, the maintenance is quite expensive, car parts are expensive as well. But overall is a reliable car, i didn't have problems with the engine, i replaced only some parts, the distribution, the brakes, the oil, filters and the suspension. I use this car for commuting to work.

I myself is a crazy bmw fan,but here in uae where weather is extremely hot and the parts are really expensive,getting german car is a complete waste of money. The maintenance never ends and u just need to pay again and again. Best reliable car in my opinion is either Toyota or Honda.(As compared to the living standards in UAE)
