As a Tank player, Sombra is so depressing. There are a handful of Tanks who have the range and fast enough damage to consistently cancel Sombra hack, and half of them are Mauga and Orisa. Any hero who encourages Mauga is a problem.

its depressing for every single role. tank, you cannot use your survivability, but she wont just oneshot you. dps she just oneshots you and you cant escape. support is same as dps its a crutch character for people who would like to play tracer but cannot aim. every time you see someone who spams sombra, you go into their profile and you will see the classic mei, moira, mercy, sombra etc at the top. some players play these characters to make up for being so bad.

Sombra is such a disgusting hero. She may not be OP, but she is unbelievably unfun. Extremely fast cooldowns that takes away abilities, ult cancels, teleports, self-cleanse, wall hacks, and a fairly powerful DoT (as shown by how many times people can stop shooting or die and yet still kill their opponents). And she has infinite invisibility to top it all off. It's just a cancer design and I wish they would rework her again from the ground up.

You are literally better off spawn camping the enemy supports than actually trying to make plays in the main fight. It's easier, safer, and nigh guarantees consistent value. I know that a lot of people hate Sombra…but I actually find it really fun and cathartic as a support main. I usually have a moral code that means I don’t like spawn camp or always go for the same targets unless they’re separated, because I know how unfun it is to play mercy into a Sombra and get spawncamped. I just love her movement and stuff, though I think she should have less HP, because her kit is all about being sneaky. You’re a squishy who gets hit with virus and then hit for like a millisecond with anything else and it’s back to spawn with you.

She HAS a sound effect if she gets too close, they just need to make her detect range the same as her hack range. Whether that means lowering hack range to match the current detect range, or making the detect range larger, I don't know, but I feel like that would help balance her alot.

That screen idea makes me think of R6 siege Basically in R6 there was this character called vigil He could hide away from cameras and drones by using his ability But this would leave an effect on the drones)cameras if he was nearby The close he was the stronger the effect So make this exact thing for Sombra The screen would begin to sorta glitch out when she's in line a 10 meter range And the closer she gets the stronger the effect But this would still be fairly balanced As you wouldn't know exactly where she was at any given time You know the general area But not her specific location

Sombra is a problem, with his 5s cooldown ability that can cancel MANY ults, abilities, it makes heal pads DONT work on all the other team. And with her mobility and invisibility, her almost free escape button makes some characters unplayable like widow, ball, doom, some supps etc. Also you don’t need to be extremely good to use her, just be BELOW average and you can do all this things, because how much skill does she take to wait in a corner while invisible until a doom crosses her vision to hack him. Stupid character

Happened to me once, I played my Zenyatta and got harrassed by a ball. I mean that's the game, it's annoying but I'm used to it. And then they went "gg ez". knowing someone has an ult is something you have to get good at so makes sense she should be rewarded by it (if u ult near a sombra that didn't just hack it's ur fault) the e thing also counts for tracer,genji,doom,ball,echo,winton and kiriko and the support thing is fair you shoudn't be going off on a solo adventure while there's a dive hero on the enemy team (don't mention spawncamping it's a shitty strat the sombra is basically throwing the game by doing it)
