It is so refreshing for a young male to show emotions and share sturggles and mental health. 💙 This is the type of content and person i would allow my son to watch. Too many young youtubers try and portray this hyper, always happy and unrealistic lifestyle and without sharing the truth that its you who need to put in action, willpower and a shit ton of effort to make the changes! Well done and thank you Jed for sharing. Takes some amount of strength! Wishing you well and hope your MH is doing good. Also.. Music wise - Twenty One Pilots 🎶💥🔥🔥🔥

He hit the nail on the head. In general Jed lives a privileged life and when he said ‘people have it a lot worse’ I could totally understand. It’s almost like when u r in a position like him u feel guilty for feeling down and depressed cos other people have a better reason to feel that way. Just remember anyone can feel like this no matter ur circumstances and it sucks but NEVER feel guilty for struggling with mental health if u r privileged

Keep doing what you are doing , I think alot of guys would benefit from hearing more about your mental health journey.

This video really hit home. I think it is so important that you do a video on your depression and what has helped you as it will help other people out there. I currently suffer from depression, anxiety, ocd and PND. I’m a mum to my son who is 15 months old and I am currently pregnant with my second son. Everyday is a struggle to even get out of bed. My only motivation is my son but every night when he goes to bed I get mum guilt that I should have done more that day. I struggle to leave the house and with lockdown it has made it a lot worse. I’ve been getting help from the perinatal team and a psychologist but I need to push myself further everyday to over come this. Take it easy Jed and very brave for speaking up about how you feel.

Aww Jed. I’m so proud of you for opening up about your struggles. Men’s mental health should be talked about more. I found lockdown one extremely hard. I was bed bound every day. This one is hard too. All the lockdowns are hard tbf. It feels like we aren’t going to get our ‘normal life’ back. It was so cute when you said you have so much love for your nan and granddad. Your grandparents are so sweet. I have so much respect for you. Keep your head up and keep smiling. I miss my family and the people that I don’t have in my life anymore (my grandad and aunt) We had a funeral today for my best-friend’s auntie. I’ve been friends with my best-friend and her family for over 13-14years. I was so close to her aunt. It’s been tough but we have to keep the memories alive and spirits high🥺💙🙌🏼

WOW...I’m so glad you have done this Q&A. There’s such a huge stigma around males expressing their emotions and talking about mental health. My boyfriend, of 3 years, is really struggling at the moment, he can’t seem to motivate himself, hates the way he looks and is constantly negative about himself, commenting on his weight ect. I suffered really badly with mental health in the past and got admitted to hospital, he was with me through it all. I’ve been trying to give him advice but he just doesn’t take it and it’s a viscous cycle, if you did a video about tips with dealing with mental health issues i would really appreciate it, especially because it would be good to hear it from a males perspective. So brave of you to speak about your mental health and I’m so glad you’re doing better than ever now! ❤️

Jed, you don’t understand how important you speaking about your mental health was. For young men, this will have helped so many people remember it’s okay not to be okay, it dosent mean your weak etc. It made me emotional watching you talk about it, out of happiness that male youtubers are open about men’s mental health, it’s such a huge cause of death in this country.
