A lot of people specially in Asia in my opinion view Philippine education as less inferior to theirs. But looking at a bigger picture, those educated in the Philippines do really have an edge than others cause they work in big companies across industry spectrum around the world. Engineers, doctors, scientists, finance professionals, educators, etc. They are everywhere and companies value them and their contribution. So I believe without a doubt that youve made the right choice. You can communicate and may have instilled now in you certain Filipino traits that will endear to everyone whom you will be working with in future. Just do good with your studies and reach for your goals.

Philippine education follows western type of education. It is easier to get in but harder to graduate because they want to make education accessible to everyone but only hard work keeps you there. In japan however as an example, it is very difficult to get into a Good university but once in, you hardly have to show up in class and you will rarely learn anything, they're expected to take it easy and not study. It's the opposite in the Philippines

@@nenabunena In short, Phlippine schools focus on service oriented jobs after the undergraduate degree rather than advance learning that's why so many added activities, thesis, projects, etc to the theoretical courses. In other Asian countries, graduate degrees are a must for a career path either to industry or research. That's one reason developed Asian countries are capable of creating their own jobs on their own invented products using advanced knowledge and know-how.

I want to say that you made the right decision but I have friends who study at Busan and Yonsei university according to them you don’t need to go to the class regularly. You just need to pass the requirements and test and for sure you will pass the subject. While in the Philippines, even your attendance is perfect and you pass your requirements on time as long as you did not meet 75 or some schools 85. You will fail and you have to re-take again the subject for the next semester until you pass it. Recitation and reporting are still real in the Philippines and plus your terror professors. Hahahahaha 😂 Thesis is also real here in the Philippines from grade 10 until doctoral. Hahahaha.

hi i wanna know which university/universities academics are tougher: Korea or Philippines?
@rap32082 жыл бұрын
It's very difficult to get into the best korean universities...very tough, but they say once you get in it won't be so hard from then on. In the Philippines, it is very easy to get into the university with the major you want, the hard part is to graduate.
