linking with the initial how much is possible and understanding and constructing question yourself and answering those very same question, and amendment them, (constructing questions keeping in account the subject you are preparing for). spotting gaps forgot something old or new.

Very good video! How do you keep track of what topics you have control over and what topics must be revised again? Just started my third year here in Norway and we have three exams in November/December so it's a lot to keep track of. The good thing about Anki is that it keeps track of the repetition, but at the same time your method saves time and make you think more about the answers than pattern recognition.

Hey Zain, how are you? Just wanted to tell you that I have noticed that my study way is very burning. I’m doing the IB and because of the amount of information I always mess up topics. My question is, while we study, read, do we make the questions? (Sorry if this is kind of a mess , I’m Spanish 😅)

Assalamu alaikum sir, I'm studying for my A level exam and studying biology to become a doctor if i get selected then only I'll be able to become a doctor nowadays I'm facing a problem in learning biology. The problem is that our classes are going on so fast so that we need to learn too quickly. They teach us fast in order to finish the syllabus as fast as possible. Our biology teacher said that in our country (srilanka) we need to put exact same world which is in our biology book given just "EXACTLY "the same word how can i remember if a word repreats in many place ? Teacher said we can't even write synonnyms of the word .now my mind automatically focusing on momorizing rather than understanding the concept .teacher said we need to practice essay type questions by writing many times . As they teach fast I'm unable to do many practice in one paticular section now i forgot what i learnt earliar how can i memorize the lines in a book exactly the samme words while understanding the concept at the same time 😢😢

Salam! Should we first sort out our material in one place in the form of notes? like i use three textbooks to study one topic of food science like milk processing or just go with the flow and try to remember bits of information and then actively recall all of them? If you could please help out. JazakAllahu Khairan
@zain_asif
@zain_asif 23 күн бұрын
Notes waste time usually. If u have a good textbook then just make questions from it and other internet resources to practise later on. The questions become the main one place for ur material.

I got one doubt .. so mindmap helps us in creating initial recall questions, and during revision you just update your recall questions, do you refer back your mindmaps as well or just keep mindmaps in your mind?
@zain_asif
@zain_asif 3 ай бұрын
Mindmaps help us with the initial picture of the topic (understanding). We create recall questions from the chapters/lectures etc. And throughout all revision, I try to recall the flow and parts of the mindmap in my head mostly, it'll stick better that way. I try to limit the amount i look at the actual drawings.

@zain_asif
@zain_asif 3 ай бұрын
Same principles as usual my friend.... start by skimming the topic and create a general picture to understand it well, and then immediately jump into doing 10-15 MCQs or 5-8 practise Qs of the topic to get an idea of how it's assessed. Go back to the textbook / youtube for theory to understand properly and keep trying different question types till it's solid.
