I'm with you on them becoming your favorite band. It literally took listening to two of their songs and I felt the same way. There is so much substance in the songs. These guys should be cherished in the music world. Hopefully they reach that notoriety...but with most good music today, I say it's too good for radio...so might not hit all the masses it should. Seems they are on their way though. I know I'll keep listening and telling friends about them.

The lead singers voice is heavily influenced by a long list of my favorite artists...it's like he is channeling everything good in the musical firmament! It's funny you say obsessed! To the Red Clay Strays if you happen to ever look at these. Thank you. For being amazing at what you do. You guys have become my favorite band...it only took 2 songs and I was hooked. No One Else Like Me was the first I heard and is probably my favorite if I had to pick. Your style is somehow very original while using traditional rock n roll and country flare. Your lyrics cut straight through, hit nerves, and make neck hairs tingle man. The whole band is epic, drums are energetic, guitars/bass find perfect rhythms with the song. Seems to be a couple different styles that come together perfectly... I am a self proclaimed music connoisseur, started subscribing to Rolling Stone in 1999. I knew every damn word to more than one Bob Dylan song before I was 18 years old, including the 7 plus minutes of "Tangled Up In Blue"...Not many people in my age group could have said that. And I'm here to say yours is seriously great stuff. I want to say something about the song "Forgive" particularly. I had been listening to you guys for a couple months...checking out every song and KZbin video. Strange but I had somehow overlooked this one. And then it found me on New Years Eve this year...some background...my wife and I divorced last year after 10 yrs of marriage and 13 years of being together. It's rocked my world. Don't know what you got til it's gone, right? Well seems like I'd been missing her more everyday. Missing her while being so frustrated too. I get along alright, still have a good time, but it weighs heavy behind the curtain. Anyway...I spent this recently passed New Year's eve alone ..my daughter is 18 and does her own thing, most of my friends are settled with families, and I really didn't feel much like asking some random chick out this year. So I stayed home and sipped and smoked and listened to tunes. Couldn't help but think about her a lot...I was feeling pretty bitter and angry. I just couldn't understand why things got to this point and if I'd ever get over it.... But then this song came on while I was cutting wood for a book shelf I was making. And it grabbed my attention and it lifted an amazing weight off my chest. Sometimes a song is the best medicine, more therapeutic than any doctor's advice for sure. And I have come to truly believe that a song somehow finds you when you are needing to hear it. Hell it may more likely just be from being in a vulnerable state that it feels that way, but I've had a couple times it really felt like more than that somehow. This was one. I've honestly felt better about things since I've heard it. So again, thank you for what you do and please keep doing it. The world needs music like this. 👍🤙👌🤘
