There was an apocryphal story some years ago about a guy using dynamite to kill fish. Fish & Game sent a warden out to interview the fisherman. The warden wanted to see the fisherman’s technique and went out with him. The fisherman lit a stick of dynamite and asked the warden if he wanted to fish or talk. They fished.

I'm getting sick of people complaining about Harold switching during the stories, it's schtick that is part of the show that made it great(in the earlier seasons before casual fans ruined it and The New Red Green started). There is not one thing to hate about the old Red Green

People who complain about Harold fail to realize that Harold being obnoxious is the point of the character. He's supposed to represent the impatient youth who think that anything outside their interests is dull and boring.

@kalloused - 6 years later and you're still 100% correct. I was 14 when it was originally on air...now I'm in my 40s and the old episodes are getting funnier as I grow into them. :)

Truthfully, I am getting fed up with Harold always switching segments during the stories. I dont think it flows very well as it is now. I think it improved over time

@@Saucy-ws6jc I agree.. The first two seasons they were trying to feel the audience out and trying to find what works for the show.. Right around season 3 they figured out the character development, and what worked and what didn't.. Later seasons were much better as they went..
