Man I love this show. As a life long Michigander, who has property in northern Michigan and spent a lot of my life there, and also in Canada, I like to think I have a lot in common with the boys of Possum Lodge lmao. I'll never forget when Steve (Red) came to Somerset Mall here to do an autograph signing at the PBS store when I was a kid. I was 13, and it was all older men, except for my family. I was the only young guy there and shook his hand and got him to sign my "we can't help it, we're men" tape lol. Then we "won" tickets to see the show filmed in Hamilton Ontario. I suspect everybody "won" because it was a 2 hour telethon. We went though. It was awesome. I got to meet a lot of the cast, and I brought red a neck tie I made out of duct tape. It was on display at the studio for a while. I had never been to Hamilton, but I'll never forget, I brought my friend and we were laughing because you could stand in a Tim Hortons parking lot and see at least two other Tim Hortons signs from anywhere in the area lol. Even with Michigan's close proximity to Canada, we didn't get Tim Hortons until I was in High school. I remember thinking "wow, dunkin donuts is far superior to this"

This is classic Canadian comedy, I'd also recommend Royal Canadian Air Farce. Uhh the older montreal standup was good too. I'm bad with names, I remember Rob White being fantastic, and an older fellow with white hair half bald, had some real nice takes on religion. While still being funny.

Most peaceful use of a gun that I've seen..
@Alwis-Haph-Rytte5 жыл бұрын
Must be you've never seen a bang flag shot out or even a starter pistol fired at a race. How peaceful is impaling a metal hook into a fish and dragging it through and out of the water, then gabbing the fish to forcibly remove the hook? If the fish is thrown back, it's so called peaceful experience is over. But if it's kept to be butchered and eaten, that doesn't sound very peaceful. I'll go clean and oil my firearms so I'll be ready to hold on to my freedom when the socialist try to take them away so they can destroy my country to fill their pockets with other peoples money. It's sad that a person needs any weapon to protect them selves or others. Just maybe if the cause of need was fixed, then there wouldn't be a need to use or a problem.

Those 2 shows were on at the same time. They were both shot in the 90's and were both part of my childhood. Red Green aired in the US too. This show continued into the mid 2000's but Home Improvement actually ended earlier, before the millennium, so if you watched it in your late teens those were reruns.
