6:41 Before they started blacking out the 800-number on the side of Winston's sewage-truck, an actual Canadian sewage-pumping service's number was painted on there, and was fairly visible (and readable) if you watched carefully. So one time, "just for giggles", I called the number, and the receptionist who answered the telephone smilingly confirmed that that truck had indeed formerly been one of theirs --- "We were retiring that old truck, so we sold it to the Red Green folks to use for their show." :D

I haven't seen this show in years. My local PBS station (I live in the SE United States) used to air it, years ago, but it quit... It always seems to quit airing actually funny programs...don't know why. :( SO glad I found this on here. :)

The Snap-On IM-5 1/2" impact. The worst impact gun ever made. I bought one, oiled it every morning and every year it needed a $90 repair. I did that for 4 years and stopped buying Snap-On air tools. Best decision I ever made.

I owned an old 1970 Nova column 3 speed. Best hunting/offroad passenger car ever. I had big snow tires on it and it handled old logging roads just fine. A couple sandbags in the trunk in the winter and it would get me to work though 6 to 8" of unplowed roads early in the morning. Another nice feature about it is that you could do most repairs with just a screwdriver, wrench set, baling wire, and a roll of duct tape.

@@frankkolton1780 My '71 Nova had only a two speed auto. What a piece of shit ! Getting on expressways and trying to get up to speed without getting crashed was tricky. The car would hit 20 in first and then it was a Looonnng slow crawl up to the then 55 mph limit. I'm glad I don't have something like that now with the 60 to 75 speed limits. ...Otherwise, mechanically it was fairly simple and the 250 c.i.d. motor was reliable. Mine was green too but didn't come with duct tape.
