When I get this game I am definitely getting iggy and noodle, one for sledding it's good to have a dog who knows when to disobey for the good of you and the team and iggy dug in the ground in the snow, I know sled dog's do this because it is warmer than the top of the snow. and barkley is just adorable. (I AM NO PROFESSIONAL THIS IS JUST WHAT I SEEN FROM MOVIES AND STUFF :>)

Even though Stilton was retired... I would still pick him because though he may be retired, he knows the trails and what it's like out there the best. I would trust him 100% As for my team... 1. Chomper- Very calm and will support you 2. Stilton- Has the experience 3. Slayer- Scared... but may protect you from things 4. Barkly- Loyal and can protect you. 5. Fin- His nose will help with hunting.

After three rounds I say the most useful doggo def Stilton. Old boy just being this womens coach the entire time. Therefore, for best team I recommend STILTON, Iggy or Barkley (both fighters), and whoever you like! They are all great dogs if you know how to match up!

Starting my first first playthrough RN and i stopped to watch this video to make sure id get the pups i really wanted about half way into my decisions 😂. I went with Chomper❤, Iggy, Barkley, Slayer, and Stilton. I wanted to to for the most well rounded team and this seemed to hit all the markers. I wanted a good leader, a protector, a floof, and one that can sense danger since this seems to be one of those 'on edge sometimes' games. My next pick was going to be Fin because i wanted another girly for the team and i liked her tracking ability a lot. Barkley came before her though so i couldnt pass him up 😭

From what im seeing from just this videos set of dogs (and also some of the playthroughs ive seen with them), each dog has a different skill set and might change your story depending on who you choose: - Chomper, a good help if you wanna get squirrels, I havent watched many gameplays but from what ive saw so far in only a few plays he doesnt seem to get into trouble. - Stilton, he looks like he would be able to spot things you may not spot on a old run, change what you end up finding along the way. - Slayer, just gonna say right off the bat that if you dont want to waste food no matter what type, Slayer is scared of elk so dont get him if you wanna get as much food as possible. Other than that hes a good dog. - Gale, sorry but I havent seen much about him. So far ive seen that hes a nice help. - Barkley, oh this one seems like he would help you not get injured during runs, and may also give you some more food possibly. There might be a fight you dont have much power in, and Barkley will weaken the attacker. - Iggy, useful but (a bit of a spoiler) if you dont have a medkit on you during the game while you have her or have used it already, she will get injured by a animal during your run. - Fin, often leads you in the right direction during runs. Its useful but every now and then you run into a skunk. - Noodle, now this one will probably be your guide and save you some very risky paths, listen to what this dog says almost all the time. From what the game is leaning at this dog may be good luck. - Bodega, seems like she would cause extra energy to be needed, but may also assist in carrying different items along the run. *Keep in mind, these are just guesses! So you can listen to them if you want.*

Finn is good for finding bullets and a med back, but the first time you follow her it's a skunk, probably my favorite dog to build a trusting relationship

Yes, you can pet Fin. Follow her when she finds a scent, talk to her everytime you camp and praise her when finding something. Don't get mad at her. Also give her your beanie at night. Eventually she'll let you pet her.

yea but you gotta think ahead if you are trying to win a race oneday. Thats ALL dog racing is. Dog breeding to find the fastest ones. if you are BUYING dogs, Who do you plan on breeding later? A smart musher here would take all three females for breeding; igloo, fin, and noodle. and then pick the best leader. Stilton. 2 males and 3 females. Youll have 16 in a few years and be running the iditarod. Dog sled racing is stupid.
