For hiking I would 100% recommend the Cairngorms national park in Scotland and there are loads of places to skate in Glasgow and Edinburgh!!

Dude Northern Ireland. Belfast has a great skatepark and the Mourne Mountains are like an hours drive away. Seriously the trails are stunning you won't be disappointed

if you're in rome: just cross the road, cars will only stop at a pedestrian crossing if you are actually walking. they also literally don't give a fuck if they crash into other cars, it's nuts.

any red plies are bad luck, my first red board snapped from a kickflip and i couldnt land anything on it, second red board had me roll my ankle and crunch the day i got it.

I don't know why people think red top ply decks are bad luck it's really all in your head just because of its ply color don't mean it will affect your luck or the board. I really like red top ply i skated a heart supply board with the red top ply and never had a problem with it. I think this myth is just silly.

Josh Katz if you are going by train it could be a treat, one of the coolest and most famous spots in Milano is the area right in front of the central station...now the weather sucks up north, but today the sun came out and just passing by i noticed a handful of diehards! Also, it would be nice to see a skate session in some italian skateparks! I spent 8 months in Tuscany, Viareggio 4 years ago and from there you could easily reach Pisa, Lucca and Livorno, lots of parks, some of them were indoor...but you already live in Florence and there should be many also in that area.
