Yes , I agree and she is not vain like other Korean actress who puts tons of make ups just to be beautiful. Obviously, her visuals still the same when she was young. Her acting is improving as she is becoming older like wine.

Yes! I saw her b4 but this is the first seeing her act and wow ❤. Natural and beautiful. I saw some old reality show shw was in yrs ago n she was hilarious. Very casual n down to earth

Awwww throughout this episode, all I did was covering my ears, eyes, and heart!! Every scene it is so heartbreaking!!! Not ready for ep 16 and 17!! It better be a happy ending 😭😭🙏. My heart already ache watching the trailer for ep 16 😓💔.

Even though it didn’t look like she let on much in this scene, you could see her taking in what San has said, and maybe she’s still struggling internally, though she’s definitely not as firm in her initial decision. When San turned, her reflexive action was to just hold on first, then she hesitated again. Thankfully San caught onto that hesitancy, which was all the opening he needed from her. Such subtlety. I love this show.

K she really needs to up her acting skills. That blank look on her face is not cutting it. I know it was supposed to show her longing and conflict etc but she conveyed it VERY poorly

Oh please, she portrayed the emotions so beautifully here. Just the right amount of hesitation and conflict. I mean please focus at her expression at 1.19, 1.44 and 2.06 Edit - Even when you see behind the scenes for this, the director told her to show only subtle emotions and Junho even praised her for this forte. She did exceptionally well in this role

@@anyagoseo9380 Well neither is Junho's eyes wavering since not sure which emotions wavering eyes show. But yeah, the micro-expressions are enough for a subdued court lady conflicted character whereas Junho is your expressive powerful king. They both are doing well in their roles

She actually portrays a court lady well. You should read the interview Lee Seyoung did about how she went about to portray Deokim. Because Deokim is a court lady they aren’t allowed to or supposed to express themselves much and have to hide their feelings, that’s the life they have been doomed to unlike a King who is free to do whatever he wants so Seyoung tried to portray an unimportant person like this with her microacting. She does a good job at showing us how she feels while being an “unimportant” person. Her subtle emotions are done very well and I still feel moved by them. I really like her eye acting. EDIT: You can notice differences especially in diction when you watch her in the crowned clown where she plays a queen, of course since she is still a woman she still has to be classy and not too much but you can see a difference in her as a queen vs court lady

@@krtyn9670 what you just explained makes sense too but she didn't carry this demeanor in the initial episodes when she was the court lady of the crown prince. I guess time took a toll? But it's too passive , even in the snippets for the next episode she carries the same expression. Maybe through her passive expression she's trying to say this not what deok im truly wanted. Idk man
