To be fair, when I started my first BB line grind I also did not know the difference between going bow in and angling. For those who ask, *bow in* means only showing the front of your ship. That means your bow eats the shells. That can mean you get overmatched. You need to have a rough idea which guns do that and which don't. *Angling* means using a steep angle to bounce shells using your armour belt. Some ships can do that better than others, for example because of an exterior belt or the lack of an all-or-nothing armour scheme. The Japanese (except Yamato) and Russians are a prime example of a line that can exploit belt armour to bounce shots. Therefor, angling =/= bowtanking!

I was able to witness the ramming of the Pensacola in game. I was in a friendly Pensacola (the sunk cruiser around the F1 sector), that didn't do much more than keep the enemy Ataksuki busy.
