Beck was 'weird'. They have a unique taste, very niche interestes and a unique sense of music and style...They actually have a personality. And amber hated their guts for (in her words) trying to be unique while she is the one as exciting as a bland piece of toast

Agree 100% I think Beck was more 'worldly' than Amber too (despite Amber's difficult upbringing- she lives in a self-centered fantasy of fabulousness) and Amber couldn't stand that people related to Beck more easily as a result. Just my opinion obvs.

Jordy was the one who suggested Amber’s mother might be irredeemable due to her past behavior. And Mama got pretty upset about all the hoopla that popped up until the service animal portion of her charges got resolved. Amber threw one of her classic temper tantrums over it. You think Mama wants to hear Amber wants to be besties with Jordy? Or are we to just conclude we aren’t to ever take it seriously when Amber pops off crying and mad about the current discourse?

If Amber were a decent person, it wouldn't be so bad. She's entitled and ungrateful, That's going to be the catalyst for issues with her mother. She has proudly stated that her mom works a full-time job and she doesn't pay for her mom's stuff. I can't imagine! So her mom works a full-time job, spends most of her down time running Amber around And gets absolutely nothing for it? Having to spend a lot of your off time running around for someone else gets old real fast And if that person doesn't even bother to buy you things while you're out, it's not lasting long. I'm sure Amber has been guilting her mom for the past, but eventually that's going to wear out
