@brianahernandez9396 thank you and you will do fine! I would pay attention to the wording when reading the questions. Most of the test contains scenarios where you will have to choose the best method of action, measurement or identify the function of the behavior. Typography is in there! It will ask what is your BCBA asking (he/she is asking what the behavior looks like). These videos really did help me ALOT... Good Luck don't stress too much! You got this!!

Just took my exam this morning after binging the whole series, once last night and once this morning. Ive been waiting for confirmation to take my test for about a month since I took my competency assessment and was so caught up I forgot to review throughout the time. The test was a piece of cake. I took it at online with a proctor, it was a little awkward at first because I waited so long I thought Id have to reschedule but after restarting the session, I waited 30 minutes and they called me to check my area through the webcam. Im not sure I would take it remotely again but Mauricio definitely helped give perspective in order to answer the questions conceptually. Thank you Mauricio! Im going to celebrate tomorrow at Ikea!!!

1st I want thank God and thank your teaching. I failed the first time, because I never knew the questions will be set on a scenarios. I was the 3 points out. But study with your video, and using ABA rock and quizzm to practice and pass the 2nd time with an excellent results. All I will say is let people know the questions will be set on scenarios, which will require them to think of the best answer. Cause covid did not allow me to have a hands on practice. So I had study two times harder. But thank you 🙏🏽

Have you thought about maybe making a Registered 40 Hour course for RBT competency? I think you'd do amazing and make a lot of money from it. The course i'm taking now isn't the best and it's boring as well. I've learned a lot more from watching your videos. Hi Mauricio, I just wanted to take the time to thank you for these videos. My company gave me two days to study for my RBT exam and I was really worried about failing it... but I passed! 😊 By understanding the big concepts you explained in your videos, it helped me tremendously on the test. Also, I think that its pretty cool you are a resident! Do you mind sharing your experience as a resident, especially with having a background in ABA therapy? I'm a pre-med student applying to medical school next year and since I already had a lot of clinical experience, I decided to work as a RBT (partly also because I love kids). I tried doing some research to see how medical schools view ABA therapy experience, but I couldn't find much on it. I would love to see a video of you talking about your ABA experience and if it was helpful for you in your medical journey. Thanks again!

ABA therapy makes all the difference in med school and during residency! I use it to counsel parents on tips to manage different behaviors. Also works very well for cigarette cessation and for differentiating behavior changes caused by medication vs environment. Many people in the medical field aren't familiar with how ABA works, only that it is used for autism, so being able to educate others on the basics can change healthcare dramatically. We need more behavior analysts in the medical field for sure! Good luck in your career, hope we collab in the future.
