The remarkable summer of Iris the osprey comes to a close

We are reflecting on the extraordinary season experienced by Missoula’s most famous feathered resident, Iris the Osprey.

What an absolutely BEAUTIFUL video and commentary - from both your TV station's reporter and Dr. Erick Greene - TYSVM! I've been in love w/Iris, like SO many others around our world, for many a year. This season was magnificent, full of such wonderful surprises and I'm so very happy for the whole family! 🥰 ~As always - HUGE TY shout out to Dr. Greene and the whole Montana Osprey Project, to Cornell Lab Bird Cams, to all Mods and to everyone involved behind the scenes! ~~It's a wonderful gift for all of us to have this up close and personal, intimate view into the life of Iris, now Finnegan, their offspring and all that goes on in their lives, that we are so very blessed to see! 😍 ~~~These are the last days of their nesting season; we mourn for the loss of them in our views/lives. At the same time, we rejoice in their WONDERFUL season and we wish each of them endless safe travels, lots of fish to eat and good health for many a year. If you're a praying person as am I, then I know there will be HUGE, worldwide collective hopes/prayers that we will be blessed w/the return of beautiful Iris and her dashing beau Finnegan come next April. 🤩 ~~~~Prayers sent for all of them - Iris, Finn, Sum-eh and Antali - all ways and always.❤❤❤❤
