Whats funny is ak-47 imports usually have magazine issues that cause it to jam and fall out with random bumps. Maybe we should just revert to single shot, but higher range guns that are much better than any telescopic sniper and can be used by one person unlike a tank which is also extremely loud. I have an 1884 in 45/70 and I had one in 43 Spanish, sold it. Fool! Compared to all the other single shots of the era it was the easiest to make, strongest and simplest. It beat the martini in the English trials. The martini is first runner up for rugged simplicity. Costs more to make. The rolling block was adopted by every “primitive” country. If your troops don’t wear shoes, wipe their ass, or wash; no problem. You can teach them how to load and shoot a rolling block. Aiming is optional. So was cleaning apparently from the condition of most guns. It was safe. It won’t go bang out of battery. Well if the firing pin is rusted in place, maybe when you close the breech...... Cheap and easy to make. Not technically picky. And Remington was happy to license production to anybody willing to pay a small royalty. Anybody. Great guns. For the day. Fox out.
@matthewmiller47472 жыл бұрын
Just a tip, I don't know how rare they are, but dry firing and old weapon can break the firing pin. Took me 15 years to find one for one of my rifles and I had to modify it to fit. Not criticizing, just a suggestion.
