They’re describing a time share, not a Ponzi scheme. A Ponzi scheme is when you have a group of people invest money, after a week or so you take a small portion of the money they gave you, and give it back to the investors, saying that it’s a return. And then the investors continue giving you money, and you continue returning a small portion of their original investment under the guise of it being a return. You continue to do that until youre sitting on millions, at which point you flee the country for Braxil lol

My parents fell for the time share thing back in the 90's
@jaysonisgreat4 жыл бұрын
My grandparents had a time share in Mexico. It truly wasn't all that expensive and it was in a sweet location in Puerto vallarta. For like 2 weeks every year we got to go and chill in the sun, get fairly drunk and pretty stoned on the beach, and we could go to this little village by Nuevo vallarta that had a sweet little open market kind of deal. I'd buy a fake rolex every year. And one year I bought a baby sea turtle. But my grandma told me in no way was she going to allow me to smuggle it home.
