The name "twelve days of trinkets" makes me think of Christmas even more than just the words "advent calendar". I think it's because of that song that goes: on the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me (la la la, something about turtle doves and pear trees). And it goes on until the twelfth day of Christmas or something like that. lol probably just me tho

If it helps, I'm in the planner community and a lot of shops do advent calendars and they are rarely Christmas themed. Most advent calendars are things you can use all year because it's pointless to open Christmas planner things when you don't have time to use them! ❤️ Most do specify when advertising that it's not Christmas items, but it's pretty standard now that I would always assume non-Christmas. Can't wait to grab one btw. 👀💸

I have the Kindle version of Alphonso's book too. There is no doubt Jake's book was influenced by Alphonso's because Alphonso's book is listed in the bibliography of Jake's book. There are parts that are too similar to be coincidence, especially since Alphonso's book is credited. It's almost like an admission, right there in the book. There is even a page titled "why ink?" where the first paragraph in both books are nearly identical. That being said, the books AS A WHOLE are very different. Alphonso's book is mostly inking & drawing instruction, whereas Jake's book focuses more on inspiration, motivation, and prompts. The copied bits make up a small percentage of the book. The people saying the whole book is copied are wrong. The people saying Alphonso has no case/he's just in it for attention are also wrong. Clear copying in my opinion, even though there's less of it than people think. *Note: This whole comment is opinion. Don't sue, lol.*
