This is why alligators trying to eat medusa at the end: The alligators were used by medusa to find penny and to patrol the bayou. However, when she lost the diamond, she no longer has control over them. So they try to eat her for revenge. So you see, the gators were being abused too. Honestly, people sleep on Madam Medusa, she's Lady Tremaine levels of abusive and greedy, with a unhealthy dose of Cruella DeVil's wickedness and unhinged nature only she has a more hands on and agressive approach to things, I mean jeez, she pointed a rifle at a toddler and would willingly blow her brains out if she followed her. Also, she looks SO creepy, but in a very realistic way, her proportions are quite realistic to some extent, he pear shaped body coupled with her long spindly limbs and sharp nails remind me of a weird spider. Medusa’s HANDS freak me the hell out. Especially in the scene when she’s waiting for Penny to hand her the diamond and grabbing at it and going “AHAHAHAHAHAAAAH”. Uggggg something about it is just awful (but I guess that’s a good thing since she’s the villain lol)

Out of all the live action Disney remake ideas they recycle, I'm surprised no one has tried to make a new version of The Rescuers. Kate McKinnon is absolutely perfect casting for Madame Medusa. Especially with all the silly faces she makes.

Fun fact: Brutus and Nero - the 2 crocodiles - are named after 2 infamous figures of Roman history. Nero, of course, was an evil Roman Emperor, and Brutus was the Roman General who murdered Caesar. Brutus was supposedly confronted by Caesar's ghost, and subsequently lost a critical battle and killed himself afterwards.
