Capcom MUST make an escape-raccoon-city style game that's open world, with a free roam map of Raccoon City and the surrounding regions. Players can experience the whole outbreak from start to finish; all players have to focus on escaping the city before it's nuked, but they can also gather... Or destroy evidence of Umbrella's crimes. But these choices will impact their experience in the game, of course. There are numerous ways to escape the city, and a variety of obstacles that will stand before the player regarding the path they take. Oh... And they MUST add the music from RE Outbreak, when Raccoon City is destroyed. Extermination I believe it's called.

The Racoon City Outbreak is imo by far my favorite part of the series and its what brought me to the series. I love this series! I consider the og re3 cannon, but with added bits of lore from the remake, like Brad still getting bit, but making it the police station for the og nemesis cutscene, maybe he even gets turned into a boss version of the parasite zombie nemesis can make

Love how you used a slightly deeper but clearer version of the OG Nemesis' voice. Every version after that just never hit the same. UC was too robotic, digital, and the other versions? They didn't feel... organic, I'd want to say.

The original RE seems to always be the best. The game play felt more intense along with the sound. I was at the gym awhile ago and watched all William Birkins boss battles from PlayStation 1. It was insane!

1. With the exception of the segments that detail the development behind the games themselves, I think I still much prefer the original RE timeline series you made, if for no other reason than that I just think it's hella well done and gives me everything I want out of a timeline like that, from a cohesive lore perspective, 'canonicity' be damned. 2. Y'know, it's crazy that even after nearly TWO DECADES later, Raccoon City STILL has content to spare to go over, find and/or talk about... Hell, the amount of space left open for fan fans to just 'fill in' and run with and/or create their own lore is in itself pretty wild... Especially with 'discarded' elements like 1.5. Also, while 3REmake isn't a bad game, is a crappy remake, insofar as it was more of a reimagining and not a legitimate remake in the way RE1's REmake or even 2's REmake was.

This is the most detailed series of resident evil I ever listened and watched. It makes everything click together. Especially since Las Plagas is the reason that the Nemesis and the T-Virus existed because of the Los Illuminados cult and its legend out in the open. Also, Luis Serra-Navarro is involved in the creation of the Nemesis and Leon plus ADA found out for themselves.

Fun fact: Resident Evil 3 actually started off with two different ideas. The first was a demon-slaying action game directed by Hideki Kamiya. But that would ultimately become Devil May Cry while the second is what we got, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.

Kamiya's project was actually separate from "RE3," his project was originally the untitled Hunk game on the cruise ship, which eventually down the road led to RE4. RE3 classic was always envisioned as a low budget side game. Capcom just kinda kept shifting game titles around as ideas evolved.

The remakes aren’t canon to the Prime Timeline. So you can actually use whatever side stories you want with 2, 3, and 4 and i still won’t change Capcom’s main canon.

Officially, as is, Operation Raccoon City doesn't fit into the lore. It just doesn't work when placed alongside RE2 and RE3. However, with some adjustments it works just fine without messing with anything else. Stay tuned and you'll see what I cooked up

RE Zero is what triggered the Racoon STARS members to launch an investigation. I think Bravo team was the first to look into this case.

@@tigarxox Sure, I get that. Individual people in the city were CLEARLY affected by RE and RE0. All the Stars members, the police chief, the Mayor, etc. but like the actual city itself. Did anything in the Summer incidents lead to its destruction and fall that Autumn?

That's a great question. As the story stands now the Arklay facility outbreak was the catalyst. Umbrella was on edge after Arklay, Birkin and Wesker were abandoning ship, which led to Birkin trying to sell the G-Virus and getting shot by the USS team. So it was indirectly responsible for what happened in Raccoon City.

The populace was already slowly being infected by other Umbrella workers that had been exposed at the disposal plant. Obviously that is nothing like the water supply that rapidly ended their existence in less than 10 days, but the catalyst had already been put in the chamber to be mixed.

William Birkins the creator of the G-virus already had a Research Lab under Racoon City as implied after he stated to Wesker he would split and continue his viral research in his secret lab. How long that labs been under Racoon city is unknown. I’m pretty sure the Umbrella Corporation built Racoon City. I mean it felt like every structure built had a secret lab. Even the Hospital had a lab that made the daylight cure.

Wait resident evil two resident evil three, doesn’t take place at the same time even the OG games, September 29, early hours, Jill was infected by nemesis at the Clocktower. Leon and Claire arrive in raccoon city later on that night and got out in the early hours on September 30.
