I haven't watched you in a while man because I was caught up with school but glad to be watching you again man. I remember starting to watch you around 13-14 years old about 2-3 years ago - With the same dream that you have of getting a pro contract, these dreams are something of the past for me as I feel like its too late now and considering im going to uni in two years I dont think its an option I can take anymore. I've adored your videos throughout these eventful few years and you gave me hope for years in my adolescent years. Football is still fun for me and I might look to join a sunday league team or school team looking forward just as something extra instead of a career option. Hope your injury gets better man. I'm interested to see what comes of your new journeys; I've got a lot of vids to catch up on, sorry for the long read man - keep it up!

I’ve had a meniscus injury too since February, it’s still recovering after surgery 3 months ago, it’s a pain but all the best hopefully it works out for both of us

Keep grinding man, I’ve known a few people who had meniscus surgery, lots of popping and some pain is normal, don’t have anymore surgeries, just keep pushing you got this!

his "professional" career was over on day 1 of the 365 day challenge, 3 years ago... He's an average State League Div. 1 or 2 player at best. He's far from professional product. Harsh but true... It's sad that he got injured, but at least he will always be able to use it as an excuse as to why he didn't "make it"...

Protein from the carbs still counts as protein for the day don’t forget to add protein from your carbs like oats that is 12 g per 100g of oats 👍👍

Sheldon I had the same thing that is happening to you right now I went down with a lateral meniscus tear playing got it repaired and it was coming in and out and I couldn’t extend my leg all the way and had to put it back in manually. A month ago I had another surgery to make sure it stays in place and I’m in the rehab process. It gets better think about your future and your dreams you can’t have this going on if you want to play keep your head up I’m in the same boat as you 😊

How come they didn’t just fix the meniscus tear? I know your tear was a bit difficult, but wouldn’t that help prevent something like this.

what have you been doing for the rehab to strengthen the quad? im rehabbing my knee also

So basically a lot of single leg squats, I can only sit to stand and it’s quite limited right now. Glute bridges, calf raises etc. anything that requires just your body weight and ok for the knee is what I’ve been doing

Hey mate. The general rule of thumb would be to try to eat between 1.4-1.6 grams/kg of protein per day. Looking at your weight your current intake looks good. Once you start having more you’ll just need to urinate more as the body struggles to breakdown amounts greater than what is described above. I’m an S&C coach so just my 2 cents. All the best with the injury.

@@SheldonTweedie yea that’s a bit more reasonable and but any more than 0.8 grams per pound of body weight is pointless because it won’t build anymore muscle, best to just have some carbs or healthy fats. Love the videos hope you get better soon
