He really is one of the most daring not afraid to do smaller projects with new directors and plot lines from first time screen writer's, I'm sure he's aware that not everything he's in is good but he doesn't give up and recent years have shown that you don't need big budgets to tell a good story, ie mandy and pig, the later really surprised me as I thought their wouldn't be a great story but I think it's a beautiful movie.
