Lady Fractic did a decent job with the german pronounciation. Sure, it was kinda rough around the edges and still very much accompanied by an american accent, but I wondered whether she had some german language training at some point, as native (american) english speaker usually do a much worse job when they're not familiar with german...and that's pretty much valid for any untrained foreign speaker in any language. Still, good job.

LOVE the weather channel link! I had been enjoying these all last year on youtube remembering all the hotels having the weather channel on tv in our rooms. Something comforting about it when you wake up in the morning and hear the music and see the weather. NOW to actually one that gives me weather in my area with the classic music is AWESOME! Thank you so much for posting the link - bookmarked!

Every day can feel like Christmas Day when one watches the Retro Show. Another great video of nostalgic bliss to sweeten and enhance our days. Magical through and through. As for the Red Dwarf ships, there were two main support vessels used"The Blue Midget" and "Star Bug" although the latter ship went through many changes and incarnations. There was also "Car Bug" in the Back to Earth season of Red Dwarf. A smart car was done up to look like a road-worthy "Star Bug". Perifractic becomes a heartbreaker to match Ladyfractic and the ever-so-adorable Junifractic. Thank you all for the continued joy your shows bring.

Fun bit of trivia: PDF originated as a Display Postscript hack that a NeXT employee named Sam quickly threw together in an afternoon. Before he went to NeXT, he worked for my local Atari store Paradise Computers in San Luis Obispo in California. When he was there, he created SGS-Net which networked Atari STs together using the standard MIDI port.

If you are planning on getting a NES then you might also consider in trying the Open Nes Project. As the name says it's an opensource version of the NES, the main board can be create by(for instance) PCBWay and solder all the components to the board yourself. It could turn into a whole project and even 3D print a custom shell for it, or find a suitable after market one.

This is really a nice Retro Show again. I love the Retro stuff. I'm quite into Retro stuff too. As I don't have the space to have real Retro hardware, I just emulate the various Commodore Amiga computers trough WinUAE and I play the older Retro MS-DOS games trough DOSBOX. I had a Commodore Amiga 500, a MSX 1 and later a MSX 2. I also had a 486 PC. I didn't had them all together but somehow after each other. I don't know the years that I had them anymore, but I did have a lot of fun with them. I only have a modern PC now, which I built by myself with a little help from others.

It might be the one Joe owns or it might be the park only car. The reason KITT was over water is because, even elevated, when they had it on a stand. people tried to hotwire the car and take off with it. one hotwiring attempt while the keys were in the car from what I was told but after it went over water the attempts to really drive stopped. Though many smashed the turbo boost button until the pod panel fell off.

You "need more women in STEM" i completely agree. But, sadly, my experience is that many women don't want to work in STEM. It's certainly changing but it's slow. In the UK, most early learning (infants and junior schools) are almost exclusively run by women and I didn't see much encouragement to do STEM when my three children fed through the system.

I think, I mean I suppose it could possibly be Windows NT 3.5 but they wouldn't let me fiddle. Either, way ancient. Windows 3.1 was awful btw, and nothing will change my mind.
