One of my very favorite memories of my dad was watching a couple of Seymour shows and my dad laughing. I myself tried my best to never miss a show - and it didn't matter where I was. For instance: friends of the family was having a house built in Torrance. The frame had barely been finished but I DEMANDED that we be allowed to watch that evening's Seymour show - which didn't start until 11:00 p.m. on this very small portable TV - remember those? And we watched some King Kong movie. Then on July 14, 1974, my dad would die of lung cancer at the age of 45 - I had just turned 14. Watching Seymour is what got me through that horrible summer as I was able to laugh despite the tragedy. So you have absolutely no idea how hard hit I was when Larry Vincent left us only 8 months later. It is something I felt for the longest time. And yes, I still miss him to this day - and I turn 64 in June. I would write a letter to his widow Linda Vincent. And what is weird is that she responded - and her letter arrived in our mailbox on July 14, 1975 - exactly on the one year anniversary of my dad's death. And I still have that letter stored away in a safe place. It meant that much to me. Watching (and listening) to this podcast is a great reminder that I am hardly the only one who remembers him and still miss him to this day. Great job. I will probably watch it a couple of times. Hehe

I wish his tv shows would be rerun. I so loved Seymour. I wish I still had my T-shirt. I wore it so much that it got very worn out.

Seymour has a nice small part in the weird movie "Dr. Death; Seeker of Souls" . Check it out ! It's like one of those Creepy, Eerie or Vampirella magazines come to life on the screen ! I think it's from 1971 or 1972 when American made LOW BUDGET horror movies were at their best !!

My favorite memory of Seymour Presents! was a double feature episode that happened close to Thanksgiving (I think). Seymour introduced the films, then said something like "I hope you enjoy these turkeys, but I can't watch them; I'll see you at the break". Then, when the commercial break came, Seymour was nowhere to be found. So, a remote camera started to search for him on the set, and they finally found him in his dressing room... with his feet up, watching "Mannix" on his tv set.
