Hello everyone, and welcome back to The Retro Vault! A journey back through time, looking at classics from the PS1, XBOX/PS2, XBOX 360 and PS3 area, maybe even further back too!
In Episode 6, we will be looking at Capcom's somewhat unfairly overlooked survival horror classic, Dino Crisis. Never has the Capcom Fan Base wanted a remake more than Dino Crisis. So having managed to snag a PS1 copy, I thought it would be perfect to dive into the story!

My little brother and I were obsessed with this game for a while. The multiple endings broke his brain, it was such a cool thing to share. Seeing that actual moment when a young gamer realizes there are multiple endings. In a weird way I was proud of him. 15 years now since he passed, I still miss him.

Dino Crisis is such a great game, and deserves a remake like the other RE titles that Capcom has been blasting out lately. Not to mention that the series needs to have a better 3rd installment, and an actual end to the story. Not like the cliffhanger we got from DC2's ending.

Oh I absolutely love this series! Really brings back a lot of nostalgia! Dino Crisis was a game I played religiously as a kid. I was always a fan of adventure horror and adding dinosaurs to the mix just really brought the whole game together.

Game could easily have been about a mad scientist making dinosaurs through cloning. Instead, they went the much more interesting route of guy accidentally makes a time machine.

Dino Crisis 2 was my absolute favorite. They definitely need a remake of 1 and 2. Idk about 3 though lol. I'm so glad you had made a video about this as I love all of your videos!

I remember playing this when it first came out but couldn't finish it because it creeped me out XD I'd love it if you did the sequel Dino Crisis 2 as that was a trip if I remember it correctly (so much time travel shenanigans), or Shadow Hearts, as that game deserved so much more love than it got and I wish Steam would upload it to their library.
