Albert Wesker is the face of Resident Evil. He has been an integral character in the Resident Evil series since the beginning. In 2009, Albert Wesker was killed by Chris Redfield and Sheva Alomar, however is Wesker truly dead and, will he ever return?

This is entirely the case. His plans in Code Veronica X doesn't match up with 5. In fact very much so that every Resident Evil game he's been in even before 5 doesn't show any form of him having said issue and being forced to take meds for it.

Wesker was also never portrayed with Uroboros until 5. The reason he is so unstable near the end of it and mutating is because Chris injected him TWICE with the drug that would cause the virus to frenzy.

Glitch0005 That drug that he was injecting like every..what? 5-6 hours? was the drug that kept his X-Virus under control. The reason that X-Virus frenzied the way it did was because if he’s injected with too much of the drug, it’d be like poison to it/him. So that’s pretty much what we saw whenever he’s injected twice during the finale of the game. First time at the “airport” of the ship, and the second time in his aircraft. The drug overdosing his mind is definitely what led him to make unprofessional decisions such as infecting himself with uroburos. Which let me tell you, that’s something the real Wesker would never do.

true I forgot bout that but in resident evil 1 2 and 3 files they say they are clones that's the reason the other 11 or 12 I can't remember if it was 12 or 13 children died bc of they messed with their DNA and some also died thru the project W program training so really that confuse ppl I think after resident evil 4 capcom kinda lost themselves on their own lore lol plus the comics say different which the games goes by the comic until resident evil 4 then after that capcom was just loading out on its roots until resident evil 7 but the same time wesker still alive bc theirs evidence on umbrella Corp the game.. terrible game ...actually terrible doesn't do it justice it was just a cash grab which kinda happy I only spent 10 bucks on it preowned to just check out the lore

I actually suspect that Capcom will write him back into the story. That's why, IMO, it's taking so long for them to continue the plot after RE6. They might be trying to figure out the best way to set up his return. It's been 6 to 7 years by now since RE6. Yes, RE7 got released, but let's be honest, it's a self-contained story that has no ties to the franchise's main story. RE8 will be where everything picks up again. Maybe with Wesker? We'll have to wait and see, I guess.

There was an earlier instance of cloning in Resident Evil. The leeches of James Marcus in RE: 0. The leeches were so thorough a clone that they believed they were the real James Marcus. The leeches were test experiments for the Progenitor Virus, the same virus that Wesker's serum in RE: 6 (that is *PG*-AW67). The C-Virus was also based the Progenitor Virus so that lines up perfectly with the clone theory. (It also kinda fixes the naming convention of the C-Virus. Every other virus is named after the desired final outcome while the C-Virus is instead named after the middle "chrysalis" form.)

Incorrect, they erased the Marcus clone from the original lore in the umbrella/dark side chronicles. It was actually Marcus himself who had been re-animated and subsequently merged with the queen leech. The queen leech also only merged with him since it needed a host in order to survive. Basically, that really was Marcus.

The Possibilities of Wesker being alive. 1. Resident Evil 7 could be an official reboot meaning it could be another universe, perhaps one where RE5 never happened. 2. With all the viruses and abilities Wesker had, he most likely survived the rocket, its not the first time he was "Dead" 3. The Wesker in RE5 was a clone, it would definitely explain his change in personality and motives. Do you really think wesker would be the type of character to turn himself into those monsters? Wesker is smart and has a bigger advantage remaining in his human form, so it really feels out of character for him to transform himself like he did at the end of RE5. Now its obvious that the LastBossGetAlbert is referring to the Albert-01R Handgun that you use to kill the last boss, However even with that said I think he might make an appearance or have some form of reference proving he's alive in the future DLC's for RE7.

I really like this theory especially with the use of info that you provided from Umbrella corps and revelations 2 it could be possible. But what if way back in Re5 all the times you saw Wesker it was a clone? It would explain Capcom's subtle difference in his clothing as well as why he had to be injected a few times a day. We all assumed he was being injected with a uroburos sample because it would kill him if he didn't take it, but what if it was actually keeping the clone together because he produced it through uroburos like simons did to create Carla through the C-virus.

here is my problem the "Ada clone" had her own name and only looked like Ada even before the C viris, and those files refering to the demo, SPOLIER ALERT: is refering to a replica of Albert Weskers Gun which looked like the Killer Seven magnum he used in mercenary mode of Resident Evil 4 besides with Umbrella corps destroyed and finished there would be no way for him to clone himeself, but there is a nice little surprise to Resident Evil 7, SPOILER ALERT RETURNING: Chris Redfield, sporting what looks like a new umbrella outfit, and arriving in an umbrella corps helicopter

I wouldn't be surprised if Capcom brings him back. To put it plainly, fans were NOT happy about them killing off Wesker in 5. It's very peculiar that Capcom proceeded to introduce the "Wesker Children" (Alex Wesker) and Jake Muller into the story. It was like they were trying to compensate the fans for Albert's death. Well, it didn't work. RE 6 had a very mixed reception, Jake didn't get anywhere close to as popular as his father was an Alex now only exists as a split-personality in Natalia. Coupled by Capcom exploring cloning and mind-transferal, and all the Wesker shout-outs in Resident Evil 7 (the Albert 01 and HCF), it really seems like Capcom is planning to bring him back into the fold.

great Albert Wesker - Evidence + Theory video. i am down and be ok with Capcom bring back Albert Wesker, but doing so will also men they lie to the Resident Evil fans/supporters/gamers. Capcom said they will not bring back the Albert Wesker. that's why they gave us Albert Wesker's son. which his son is not as cool as his father was. a let down.

My theory is that since Chris is told on radio that he has another mission, that mission will be Resident Evil 8. Chris may not be the main character in Resi 8, but both he AND Wesker will make a return in that game and my crazy theory is this - Wesker is going to KILL Chris in Resident Evil 8. I mean, how crazy would that be? it would suck because I love Chris but at the same time it would be epic

I think the Wesker who died in RE5 was the clone. Wesker is the puppet master. Observes from the shadows and uses people to his own ends. He rarely gets his own hands dirty. The real Wesker was up in his satellite watching everything. His return is only a matter of time

I see Wesker having a crazy out of control clone in RE5 where he is hiding from it or doing some research on another virus then having the clone doing most of his work he was gone. Just like most comic book and somehow the character is still alive or just like Metal Gear where Big Boss been hidden for years and had a clone that took his place.

would suck to intrude six years after this video is made but... we see in both Resident Evil 4, and Resident Evil 7 and 8 that zombies can have a hive mind, like Saddler's plaga and being able to control the ones he infected, or Evelyne from 7 with the mold. it could be possible that Wesker already had set of clones of himself, feeding into this hive mind thing. no matter which one lived through what, he'd be aware of any particular clone's experience and stuff. could be a viable theory seeing how massively different RE4 and RE5 Wesker is physically

@@Meowme-zm9vl they basically used the virus to mutate Carla to look like Ada, complete with the athletic capabilities and, if the specimen was threatened with physical trauma she'd transform just like Simmons, since Carla injected him with the same virus. in no way Carla was a clone of Ada though, apart from looks and voice, Carla still had her own memories and i'd be willing to bet this was against her will

Wesker is dead and gone. His left behind research has allowed the 3rd organisation/H.C.F. to revive the Umbrella Corporation. The executive referred to in the experiment of Umbrella Corps is hinted at to be him but in reality is another person entirely. Wesker's inclusion as the multiplayer announcer is just an easter egg for English speaking fans. He is never named in the game and thus non-English speaking fans don't even know he is in the game at all.

It would be great to bring him back, and they should never have killed him off. They should stick with Wesker since he was seen first and his sister Alex. And they should stop with those bull crazy people in a house or village and stick with what made Resident Evil great.

I would like to see him back, but in all honesty I don’t want them to do it and it ends up being a let down. Bring him back one last time for a grand finale of the whole franchise, if that ever happens.

I would love to see Wesker come back and get a better finale. We didn’t even get much screen time from him. He was only in RE1, code Veronica, and 5. And we don’t even see him in 5 until towards the end. Besides those games he was only behind the scenes.
