Alex Gray (Apollo) has quite the Pedigree; Public Schoolboy at Barnard Castle School, he Skippered the England U16s, U18s and Captained the England U20s, played for many Rugby League Teams including the London Irish and England Sevens.

He's absolutely gorgeous too, I'd make a lousy contender, I'd be hitting on the Gladiators instead of competing against them! lol,

Why has Apollo got the symbol of a Roman Legionaries hat, or more commonly known as a Spartan Helmet. Apollo is symbolised by a horse and chariot pulling the Sun

Just because she was born in 2003, doesn't mean to say she had no clue about Gladiators as was/still is repeated on TV, shown on 90's documentaries-I mean she said her family were so excited- and people still used VHS player til like 2010. + they would of told her about the old games on show as well-just in pop culture + on Teletext, pics in mags so makes no sense. While I really enjoyed it- wasn't same without John Anderson/+ it not being at Birmingham Arena as much bigger as the Birmingham Arena is 15, 800 + Sheffield Arena holds-13,600 as u prob know + uou can tell the difference from old ones of the size! Was gutted when I read last year it wouldn't be held there😩

thats where it went wrong trying to follow the trend of today making us all like sheep ...on the show you shouldnt respect the other contenders your there to do a job not suck up to them after saying you did great etc etc thats for their family to do that the worlds going soft
@njc845 ай бұрын
Oh wise up, it's a family entertainment show, it's not war. It's absolutely fine to show respect to the contenders, as in any sporting scenario, competitors should always show respect to their opponents after they've competed. They're competing in sport, as I say, it isn't war, it's sport. What is wrong with you? 🙄
@londonhatred5 ай бұрын
you're aware they did that in the 90s too right? sporting conduct surprisingly extended to sporting tv shows
@MrDeathMachine3 ай бұрын
Gladiators has always been about sportsmanship and inspiring children to be fit and strong. Something sorely needed in this age of woke garbage where being fat is somehow ok.
@Harr1233 ай бұрын
So you'd have contenders and Gladiators taunting each other and going "Na na na na na, you're not very good, let's see your crying face, ya scumbag" after an event like neanderthal football fans? You do realise these athletes are role models for the young and sportsmanship and respect for your opponent is one of the key components in any sport, thank god too, if everyone thought like you, I'd want all sport banned.
