Thanks so much, Dana! This is one of my most beloved videos to date, mostly because it has my family in it! And it sounds like Chad has a family-related video releasing soon, too, which is very exciting! Hope you are your family are doing well heading into the Thanksgiving season. :)

If there is one video this whole year, that i will remember, it will be this one. Im snotty crying while watching. Im so glad that you were able to everyone out for one more adventure to dog Slaughter. Listening to Bill and Roger reminisce and speak of the beauty of the falls was wonderful! My only wish, was to hear your thoughts as well. Seeing photos of a young Bill and Roger was icing on the cake! Bravo, my friend, Bravo!

Thanks so much, beloved Trail Bro! I wanted to honor their legacy and the impact their lives have made on mine, especially when it comes to my love of the outdoors. I felt like I would get in the way if I spoke because it seemed like their story to tell, but I appreciate you saying that. And you know, that will be us in about twenty more years, right?! Thanks for watching, bro!

Great video of what nature plus family should be. I think most of us are in too much of a hurry to actually stop sometimes and actually enjoy the natural beauty we are hiking through. As I get older, even though I like to hike at a good pace, I find myself stopping for moments to take in the sights around me. None of us know for certain if we will have the opportunity or ability to ever see and experience these sights and sounds again. Thak you Samuel.

So wonderfully spoken. You are so right in all accounts. There is a time and season for everything- including a time to hike many miles and a time to slow down on the trail with those you love the most. I really appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment. I hope this viewing has been a blessing to you!

I flat out loved this video. I’m very sentimental. I was watching the video and said to myself, “ this would be terrific if he had some old pics of when they were young”, then there they were at the end. So nice!

Hey thanks so much for the kind words about this very special video to me! I’m glad you appreciated the old photos I scanned in to share. Since you said you’re a sentimental person, you should check out the very next video I put out after this one, where my buddy Nick and I travel down to the same area to locate this specific campsite they called “The Nest” and stayed at for hundreds of nights over the decades: kzbin.info/www/bejne/p6vZY6SdlNNlmrMsi=-byLn9uZEdN27gEr
