I want to see a greater Korea, I want to live long enough to see families reunited, I want to collaborate and be part of history. I'm very moved. Greetings from Mexico.

Unfortunately my Dad didn't live to see this historical event take place, but this has GREAT meaning to me. The Korean peninsula was where my Dad experienced his first overseas tour of duty from 1958 to 1959. He was assigned to 1st Bn 12th Cavalry Regiment,1st Cavalry Division, their duty was to patrol the DMZ. During his absence, I was born and I'm Damn proud to carry his NAME!! He would eventually pull a second tour of duty in 1965.

Well the longer the time the less likely a true, full unification will happen. As the ppl from each side now have lived without each other for so long, and differences in culture and even language might start to emerge. And the longer it takes the more likely that 2 completely different national identities would have formed. However we can hope for a more peaceful Korean Peninsula. And hope that ppl from either side will be able to have more communication with each other, and have their economies, industries, etc. more connected with each other.

@@davidfreeman3083 I don't think a country that was aeons old will become so spread apart within a century of separation. The truth is, they have made so many enemies, that they only occupy asian lands if they and their banks can strategically benefit from it in war and economics. The USA and Europe are economically racist in this way.
