I am not sure many African descended individuals are aware of this. Growing up, thought Freemasons were only black. It’s all I saw. And every Freemason I knew that was African descended attended church and held office in church. It wasn’t until I got into my 20’s and educated myself on Freemasonry and Shriners that I really started to under how deep this thing really, really is. It goes for fraternities and sororities as well.

@@ianwilliamson2980 Yeah, nationalized freemasonry began in 1717 in England. However, freemasonry has existed much, much, much longer than that.
