This is going to be for the June GrandpaMark’s Hobbies Group Build. I have some big plans for this one. A few things I haven’t done in a while and a few things I’ve wanted to do. So sit back with some popcorn and check out what’s inside this bashed up box.

I haven’t built a GTO Judge model in probably 25 years so I’ll build this one next. I look forward to seeing yours Mark. I’m especially wanting to see what you pull out of your hat for the interior. The interior on the Firebird that you just did looked so good that I’m interested in seeing this one.

Thank you. I'm going to do the interior in black with a black vinyl roof. It's going to be hard to up that firebird interior, but this has good details too.

Nice to see the steering shaft molded for extra detail. As far as Amazon, yeah, the special instructions or order a batch of models at the same time. I ordered some Aoshima models and they all came in a large box.

It looks like there's a lot of good details in this kit. I'll remember the get more trick. That seems like a good idea, and a good excuse to get more. LOL

I'm always impressed with people that do armor. Those kits are so detailed. I made an AARV a few years ago and it took me almost a month and a half. LOL That Cadillac kit is a lot of fun to build.

Thanks. I do the unboxings because most of the time people go through them too fast and you can't see what's on the sprues. LOL

Oh yeah! Can't wait to see that one finished😳 GTO's are awesome. I owned a 1:1 (a 72 model year) that I modified a bit. It was a great car. I built a model replica of it, as I don't have any photos of it.

I always liked the 72s The extended front end and new hood scoops just made it look awesome. Kind of like a fighter jet.

All 69 GTO's came from the factory with 2 different length mufflers 17" and 14". I believe it just had to do with the exhaust tone. So it's correct.

This kit has been around the block a few times.... I have the '69 and '68 model kits from around 25 years ago... And yes, they are the 1/24 scale Revell/Monogram kits.... 😉

when I did my g t o judge I kinda painted my interior a tan color.my engine compartment is kinda a black color.

It will be interesting again seeing you build a model I have in my collection. I'd been seeing this kit at my hobby store, and suddenly realized it was buildable as the Judge ... not just a GTO.... so I picked it up.

I was looking for another Pontiac for the group build and the box came up in a larger picture and saw that it could be a Judge and jumped on it. The decal sheet is all Judge.

I owned a '68 GTO with original exhaust. The passenger side muffler was shorter for some reason. The AMT '68 GTO exhaust is incorrect. If anyone cares.

I've never done the 68 before, but when I do build it I will make one shorter than another.

Man I swear Amazon is going down hill... I have had that happen with some stuff that should be in a box and it is in a damn bag... 😠 I have just got a open box Monogram 69 Judge kit the other day. I had a 65 GTO set aside for the GB but I think I will do the Judge... Lol I think I can do the GB not sure yet... 🤔 Say could you send me a PNG of the decals please. Mine did not have any. Seatbelts? Who need seatbelts... Lol That is a cool idea on the seatbelts... 👏 LLAP 🖖

my last two model have also been in bag , also not recyclable. I'm doing the stock blue one, mine also has no stapled pages. The seat belt decals were a nightmare, would not budge....

Those bags are ridicules. I wonder of Revell is trying to save some by not stapling them anymore. It doesn't bother me, just different. LOL I have a coffee cup heater that heats the water nicely and that seems to help the stubborn decals.

Anymore what I've been doing is filling up the cup with hot water, then put it on the heater and it keeps it nice and warm

Thanks for the unboxing. For Orange you'll have to use Carousel Red which is basically orange. FYI they are not called "extrusion" marks, they are "ejector" pin marks. Extrusion is where under pressure the medium is extruded through the die to make the part. 😛

I get packages like that sometimes. Even worse is the seller simply slapping the shipping label directly onto the model box! That has happened three times now. And I don't want what I'm ordering shown to the world. 😮 I have this kit in my stash, and also planning on orange. 😎👍

I've had that happen once. Made sure to note the seller and not order from them again. As for Amazon they told me to ask for them in a box, so we'll see if that helps. I kept the phone number just in case. I just ordered a small bottle of Tamiya orange and I'm thinking of putting a half a pipette of red into it to get that darker orange color.

Nice unboxing. Is this the next build? You may have said it but you know about my addled brain. The Judge - I remember seeing them around too. You don't need a large parts count, with your detail talents it will be an awesome build. Thanks for the video.

Yes. I have some work to do in the shop this week, then I will start this one on the 1st for our group's Pontiac build. No, I like detail painting, so kit's like this are fun for me.

Thanks a bunch. I have some stuff to tweak, but the lighting is GREAT now. I did a small update to the Texaco station today (I built a workbench) just to get the feel of the shop, and I think I like it. I'll have some messing around with it, but I'm in a good place.

I’ve had several kits come from Amazon crushed in the bag. I call Amazon end explain the box is part of the kit, and it takes away value when it’s damaged. . In each case, they sent me a new kit, and I didn’t have to return the damaged one. You’d think the figure it out by now. Looks like a cool kit!
