As a lifelong fan of Prince, the Revolution has always been my favorite band of musicians that he had. Prince and the Revolution always!!

My favorite band as well!!!

@Rosie, same here. I still to this day feel that the Revolution was just as good as the NPG in my opinion. Wendy & Lisa brought a certain dimension of sound to go along with Prince's super creative musical mind.

Loved the tribute . Amazing how tight they sounded it was liked they never parted. I'm sure Prince was smiling down on them. The Revolution to me was his best band ever. Love you guys and keep his music alive.

I dont think so, I think the 'Sign 'o' The Times/Lovesexy band were far better, but The Revolution were good there is no doubt about it.

The Revolution! The band that Prince recorded Purple Rain the movie and album with and Parade. Strange to see them without Prince coming out on stage. 5 years has passed already since his death and this tribute. God the time is flying for us. But for Prince the time has stopped. 5 years or 50? What’s the difference when you’re gone? None. RIP Prince

Tried so dilligently to get tix for this, to no avail, so I'm extremely grateful that you sacrificed some of your enjoyment of the show to record this. Why oh why aren't they part of the big show in St Paul on 10/13/16? THIS is the lineup I really wanted to see. Such great memories, such good times at 1st Ave back in the day!

I know its live, I know it is a had held cell phone audio coverage. The acoustics of the live venue would give scrappy sound. Even so they can play! They can really play. Prince was a genius and had would have only had the best musicians surrounding him. Prince without the Revolution is like Paul without John of the Beatles. They are entwined, inseparable. Even the female singer complimented Prince. They made great music!

Theres no going back but it's a valiant effort, God love them. Somebody dance, somebody put on a rhinestone bracelet, a gold hoop, flash a little. Come on Revolution, go big or go home. It feels heavy n sad. Bring back the three guys who used to dance with real choreography. Throw up that symbol somewhere. I dunno. Maybe a job for NPG
