Difference between Runda & other Nairobi neighborhoods is that they don't allow kiosks, dukas, shanty and boda boda stands. The moment you allow that you create a slum. When did we reach a level where by having a green neighborhood is a status of wealth?
@abocas2 жыл бұрын
Not just the green. Also less trash everywhere (but there is still some which is why this would not be in a western country ... along with the partly open sewers). In Africa an area looking like Runda comes across as affluent when you see trees, bushes and flowers instead of muddy, stinking streets. It shows that the inhabitants care about their surroundings. That would also be possible to a much higher degree in less affluent areas if only people there cared.
