With the Henderson I have have to pay attention because of the collate system. Since you potential lock in at different spots I am very purposeful on locking on the same grove every time. I’ve had great results but I’m going to remeasure next time and see what comes of it.

I would say that you are 100% correct. I believe that’s where I went wrong also.

I have another one for you. A Lee trimmer made specifically for a caliber at about $10 plus the cutter will cut them the exact length. I actually prefer them and doing them by hand but I don't do volumes of cases. I do have a Frankfort Arsenal cutter that does about the same as the one you have. It's a kit and has all you need for multiple calibers and comes in a case for storage. Very nice video Have a good one.

I have tried it in the past and I’m. Building a motorised version. There is a video of it on the channel.

@@EricChristopher-mr5kt The Lee trimmers I find are not really suitable for motorizing. They seem to wear too much. But by hand they work well. I do have other case trimmers I use to do volume like the Frankfort Arsenal and even a Lyman. They have their plusses and minuses. The Lyman does not square the cases well.

Does it stop cutting at the set lenght by itself? For example if you accidentally bump the case in further after its trimmed will it cut more?

If you force it will, but it trims it pretty fast and easy. You don’t need to force it at all.

Do you have to follow up and deburr the case mouths?

Always after trimming, I use the Lyman multi station for that purpose

Chamfer and debur?

I do that separate on the Lyman brass prep station

The Giraud Tri Way also chamfers and debuts. They coat 100.00 Not sure why saving 30.00 is worth the extra hassle.
