With a culture currently saturated with celebrity pastors and popular sugar coated gospel messages, it is a breath of fresh air (as it should be) to hear and understand such vital and sound teachings of God's gospel. Blessings from South Africa 🇿🇦

„Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out!“ Dietrich Bonhoeffer preached (1934) from prison on Jeremiah 20:7 „O LORD, you deceived me, and I was deceived; you overpowered me and prevailed“. B‘s question: „Could we know just how painful your love would be?“ Yes, we know by AMAZING GRACE! Thank you Alistair Begg!

This was a really blessed sermon. I thank to lady who shared it with me. Oh, I wish I had never denounced Jesus! Please, pray that Jesus either come back to me, or (if I was NOT saved in the first place) that He redeem me (and deliver me) from sin TO HIMSELF as His love-slave, and that He just scoop me up in His arms and love me every way I can be loved.

So thought provoking. Predestination is comforting, yet we have our “work” to do while on earth - reflecting Jesus.

33:40 "You cannot sin as much as God can forgive!" Tell Jesus THAT. (What about the UNPARDONABLE sin?) THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL but... I denounced Him and His gift in a rage almost two years ago. I have begged forgiveness for over a year now: pleading, begging, but... I CAN'T GET NO PEACE, only torment! Instead my heart gets harder, and... Have I been damned before I have been damned? In fact, it seems the longer I have begged, the harder it has gotten. Unbelief, slowly enveloping me. I have been smitten with confusion, especially about the atonement. Ichabod, call me, as the Spirit of the Lord has departed from me. It is getting arder to impossible to claim that promise, "He that cometh to me I will IN NO WISE cast out." In fact, it seems, "God shall send them STRONG DELUSION that they might believe a lie, because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved."

Chris, while there is still today, his forgiveness is available. Trust in His blood, not your merits. Trust in His words, not your wisdom. Turn to Christ in trust, and simply treasure Him, moving your eyes off of you (pride) and put your hand in His. He defeated death, and his life surpasses anything you have done.

Old classic wildmanchris200 In PA praying for your peace thru His love and blood. I understand where you are. The Evil one knows scripture better than we ever will in this life and twists it to confuse and frighten us to the point we can hardly breathe. What helps me is to remember His love, look only to the sacrifice He made and know it accepted by the Father since He raised Him from the dead. Now He says, he that cometh to Me I will in nowise cast out. You and I too quickly look inside ourselves. We are not going to find anything there but a horrible mess. Our righteousness most be His righteousness. Look up Numbers 21:8. Look and live. Hope it helps to know you are not some strange bird. There is at least one more and the Lord is going to see us through it all.

Neal T Anderson has great resources to help you with this. He has you tube videos and he is an author. Please check it out. I am reading his book now. It’s called, Victory over the Darkness.

'A symphony of salvation'...'the wealth, walk and warfare of the Church...' A truly God-gifted 'eaten the Scroll' orator that the Church could do with praying for more of. Dumbed-down superficial contemporary shepherds fail utterly to provide the clarion call leadership so desperately needed for Christ's flock in 21st century's vile world.
