I think it is rather smart to change the film to be different from the comic book since this way the story and twist seem more fresh and suprising. Love the song. Good work as always

I've been a long time Hush fanboy (I own all of his story arcs), and I really enjoyed that movie. I understand why some people aren't happy, but I really, really enjoyed it. The DCAU (that started with Flashpoint) is not the main universe, these movies are all happening in it and there had already been some heavy changes made to most storyline/characters; this one was just bigger... I wouldn't go as far as saying that I predicted the ending, but through the film I kept thinking that they were building Tommy wrong, that they were not giving the right clues, and so I was pretty sure that the ending would be a bit different than the original Hush arc. I didn't expect a "Tommy is dead for realz, and the Riddler is not just the mastermind like in the comics, but the official big bad", but I also wasn't expecting the comic book ending... They had changed to much through the movie to make it possible.

Judging by how he portrays in this movie...at least so far this Riddler is not Hugo Strange's cyborg-zombie sold as Bane's mind-slave...that's the kind of the character trait/role my sister was expecting from Cory Micheal Smith's portrayal of the Riddler for the whole "Gotham" show much earlier...though the except maybe the part when he's Hush himself the whole time is rather somewhat asinine, uninspired, ballbrained, mediocre, cockimaney and ridiculous instead of letting Thomas Elliot to become Hush like in the originally comic-book of the same title: ...Started as an insecure manipulative bastard in the (figuratively) sheep's clothing driven by ego-inducing greed and revenge, an childish coward of an narcissistic juvenile delinquent conman turned to a full-blown opportunistic Judge-Claude-Frollo mastermind whose many moments does not include hallucinating/delusional split-personality moments (means his dark violent psychotic purely-selfish personality remains while his kind yet wimpy meek overly-selfless personality is gone) and whose brain still is naturally immune to all kinds of 'brainwashing/demonic-possession' method and who is lethal/deadly and bloodthirsty enough only when on his own as he willingly has no trouble in killing people--either the ones that attacked him first or the ones he doesn't know--without any sign of remorse nor empathy and is always calling the shots while never taking orders from anybody and is typically enjoying himself committing (just like both other incarnations from "Batman Forever" and "Batman The Telltale Series", and without an interference of his meek 'Ed' personality) all the atrocities even during the 'No-Man's Land' post-Apocalypse event for "Gotham" Season 5! Though, the only way to actually forcing him to do someone else's bidding is when he either get tasered with a shock-collar around his neck/wist/wrist/ankle or threatened with an nano-bomb inside of his spine (like in "Assault On Arkham when he was part of the Suicide Squad, though he presumably defused it already) or even smelling through Poison Ivy's hypnotic perfume (except in this movie...that works well only in "Batman & Robin" and in some of the DC-Universe comic-books and precised only on men, since he is a male) when blown to his face! ...Not started as a misunderstood goody-two-shoes of an 'Tuxedo-Bushroot-Mask' wannabe driven by loneliness and love-sickness turned into a indecisive wishy-washy tree-timing doofus of a Gollum-like anti-hero with a spit-personality (which pretty much literally is Two-Face's thing) whose guts always been hated for no apparent goddamn reason by all of his co-workers in the GCPD way before he commit his first actual crime and donning his Riddler persona, from that to the worst part ever...a pointless weak-minded washed-up goon of an Winter-Warrior upper-decker with a micro-chip implanted in his brain and committing atrocities only when unwillingly/unwittingly doing the bidding of both Hugo Strange and Bane. Plus, Cory Micheal Smith's portrayal of the Riddler is the most miserable, shallow, asinine, uninspired, ballbrained, mediocre, offensive, cockimaney, pathetic, ridiculous and the sleaziest version we've ever seen that so beyond insulting, far worse than Jim Carrey's portrayal of him. Ever since Seasons 4 and 5 of "Gotham", my sister really does dead-fucking-seriously hate Cory Micheal Smith (via giving him both of her middle fingers at full force) a whole lot big time for badly ruining and shamelessly humiliating the very character he recently portrayed and denied every single thing which the Riddler stands for...especially including missing his golden opportunity to finally wielding a question-mark-headed cane (whatsoever it's a sword in disguise or a scythe act as a grappling hook) as a weapon and tool of his own choice! While so she politely give this Riddler some credit for being one of the unsympathetic 'mind-uncontrollable'/'stronger-minded'/'always-free-willed' version in the best kind with his own opinion/agenda as he should be...not the other way around.

Comicstorian and DC fanboys are so annoying about changes in adaptations!When you have over 75 fucking years of Comics,inevitably there will be retcons and different interpretations of the same story!It`s not like writers,editors and artists are trying to spit on previously-established continuity,simply that as human beings they have creative differences and people get old and don`t remember shit as well!

Arthur Wynn was the inventor of the crossword puzzle. The Riddler, due to fact that he's been a criminal for a long time, uses that name as a cover-up to get pass the clinic's security system on his way to Dr. Thomas Elliot in hopes to get himself cared of his brain tumor, if he ever stick to use his real name 'Edward Nygma/Neshton' he would immediately have either thrown out of the clinic or get arrested on sight without him actually commenting crime first on that time. Of course, the brain surgery Dr. Elliot preformed was a complete failure, so the angered Riddler finds another way to get rid of his cancer and he found one in the Lazarus Pits, which took him a couple of bribes and several diversions to sneak his way into where it's held. When he bathes in one of the Pits, not only it finally cure his brain tumor away but also give him a clarity that able him to find out Batman's true identity. In this movie unlike the comic-book, the Lazarus Pit also the Riddler physically powerful in the same way as the Lotus Virus did in the Telltale version. And then after he donned another persona he single-handily, among the a lot of cruel twisted sadistic things he does to seek revenge against all (including the other villains) who disrespected him, murders Dr. Elliot in retribution for being the 'intelligently incompetent' who failed in properly treating his cancer earlier, as well as for being a childhood friend to Bruce Wayne who happened to be Batman. As well as dunged out Dr. Elliot's corpse from the tomb and took it to a abandoned factory and tie it up in a hallway just to dishonor the memory of Dr. Elliot convincing enough to psychotically torture Batman.
