The game management sucks, they break it first. Then they come up with new things saying that these are broken, and since the new items they release are broken, they make up new things to sell. Their purpose is to pluck the chickens' feathers. They do it on purpose.

Maybe they cannot code it without turning them into either very op itens or very weak ones which is the case. If they keep a shield for 10% hp that's a lot imo and everyone will start running with them (it will become bis in every build). Instead of giving Cleric shields and step into pala/warlock niche they could give the D.Cleric a bit of damage resistance on his powers/healing instead

The idea for Divine Aegis is great the problem is shielding mag is way too low if they insist stats wont affect the shield than boost mag up to 15 to 20 not enough to make or break but enough to deter some smaller hits...still got it at celestial for my healers but yeah

look at the warlock healer with hots, some skills do not give stacks of aegis and shields. Stacks of aegis are procured by the cleric’s word and provide shields on alt. stacks of aegis are procured by the cleric’s word and do not give shields on twin and I don’t know why.

the thing is is that tiny shield enough to triger and maintain the armor 2800 iL Bonus from AIC that you do % extra damage when you have a shield and your healer is not a Paladin or a Warlock that uses shileding powers

Question is does it prock items that are based having a temp hit points/shield example new citadel gear for dps. If a cleric healer has that enchantment giving that %1 shield will it proc the dps gear?

I use the Neverwinter hand mount or whatever it is, it shields all people in ur party near you.

Not like you can upkeep 20 stacks of buff on anyone other than yourself, so fixing it would be nice. Probably that wouldn't make a big of a difference for your party, but Hey, healers would get their barkshield back

Hey dude. Agies shield does not work. I tested this with the vos ring that give 5% crit strike when you have a temp shield. It does not proc the vos ring. Please test

you can see it gives shield and when you get hit, you see the shield block damage. And you can check combat logs that also shows.

I just check with the crusader armor and it gives you the 8,000 power when you have the divine aegis shield

All weapon enchants ignore your stats I'm pretty sure, making lightning the only viable option Try using bilethorn on warlock with all consuming curse + deadly curse. Hellish Rebuke will trigger it twice for a comical amount of damage ☠️

@Aragon- I'm using Bard, and I saw online that it worked for songs, too. So far, hasn't worked on any ability I've used. Although, I haven't tested training dummies. Will do that in a moment

@Aragon- okay, I finally had a chance to check dummies in training room. So far, on Bard at least, it doesn't work... but it also does work at the same time. Songs, delayed play encounter, arpeggio at-will, and Inspiration daily power don't apply a visible blue shield on the health bars. Arpeggio fortissimo also doesn't work as an at will. BUT... when I switched my build to "Gambler" instead of "Storyteller", it works

Actually, I was curious and started switching loadouts a bit more often... it also works with "Storyteller" feat, but I had to switch loadouts first. It still hasn't applied the shield at all to my own character, in either case, but switching my loadout (as well as putting "Divine Aegis" on every healer loadout I have) seems to make it work on training dummies now

yes. There is no cap with total outgoing healing, you can go above even 140% with like a cleric

on Bard if you switch between heal and dps you have to kill yourself and rez or you lose stats. I'm on console. This bug has been that way for a while.

nah, it's not that they are screwing cleric specifically, it's that they are mediocre programmers and developers overall. Neverwinter runs on bad programming, and it shows, there are still bugs in the game from original launch and from the beta before it. It all comes down to devs that are not good at programming, and have over the years spaghetti cornered themselves in an impossible to fix mess. If they did indeed copy the enchant code (which is highly likely), it's just a symptom of being a bad developer and a bad programmer, taking shortcuts, rather than doing something properly, and they probably didn't even give it a call back classification, and instead probably just copy pasted the code without changing any linked interactions, which is highly likely, as that has happened so many times already with other interactions/spells/effects. They are just incompetent at their job, and at the same time, probably overworked, and stretched out to wide

Yeah battle tempered is a nice idea but in use its the worst enchantment perhaps if they reduce the stacks and increase magnitude it could solve the issue but i have lost hope in neverwinner its been 2 years as Aragon mentioned and it wont be fixed until another dev comes along and changes the entire system again lmao

That’s because the bard songs don’t work with divine aegis, only on encounter powers, at wills and dailies as on the tooltip
