There's a far easier way to remember the prime numbers. If you read the lore scribble just before the boss, it lists all available prime numbers, and store them in your 'Event' tab.

Some how managed to get through this while solo queueing on day one. Went in completely blind and lots of deaths happened with everyone, but we managed to get through fairly quickly. Literally everyone in my group got wrecked by the math part on the first attempt of the boss, and the 2nd attempt's prime numbers got like 90% of the group. Was really fun though, since no one knew the mechanics, no one got salty or anything and everyone was just laughing and having fun.

Noryll i like it when everyone is new to the content, they are chill and having fun, even when the party wipes, but if youre the only new and a few more people, and you fuck up it is different, it isnt fun when players are nodding at you because they thought youre a shitty player and because of that you feel shitty to lol.

I too got wrecked by the math part, but mostly because I did not understand how the whole thing works. I thought that if I step on the number 3 when it asks for a Prime Number, I'd be safe and stuff. Boy was I wrong.

I learned Rake was a cleave because I had a tank who insisted on "being ready" for when the MT died, so he literally stayed in Grit (and stole aggro regardless the entire raid, always MID fight, while we're busy focusing on other things) and stood in front of Yiazmat like he was expecting to be a damn hero right at the start of the fight. The first Rake goes out with the MT still in control, and my tank's hp drops like a stone. That was a day. 9.9

for evereyone watching in the future: your hp will be set to number between 1-10, the circles will add the number 1-4 to your hp. If the boss casts divide by four, and your hp is 6 you need to add 2 to have 8hp which is dividable by 4. If the boss casts indivisible you have 3hp you need to add 4 to get 7

I didnt even notice that the raids HP drops to the singular digits during Computation. I was thinking afterwards when someone said that you had to compute your HP and I thought "people computed 5 digit numbers???" I didnt piece together the Subtract debuff that said that HP is lowered. I thought that was going to be a lasting effect after the phase or something.

As a note, it seems like the Rake variation targets the farthest person from Yiazmat. The last two times I ran the lighthouse, he aimed at me with Rake every time. Fortunately, that makes him easier to avoid.

Went in blind. I'm great at math but had no clue the mechanic was an equation that included my health. He asked for a prime number so I stepped on 2 thinking "hey 2 is prime." X, wrong says the game. "Wtf?" Says me. At no point did it occur to me to add my health to the number on the pad to give him his final result. Meanwhile half the raid is shouting about how we should have learned this when we were 8. But not actually explaining the mechanic. Good times.

I just went through here, and I do not understand Famfrit's tsunami ewer. Spins too fast to "see," and when it stops and faces a direction, I don't stand over there and think I am safe. Get hit anyway. My blood was boiling, and not even 5 minutes into this place. By the end of the fight I had no idea wtf I was ever doing right or wrong. Made no sense at all and left me feeling so frustrated and angry. Thankfully nothing else in this place was terribly telegraphed and unfair bullshit. "Fun" I dare to say. Even the math pop quiz, that was amusing. Final boss was fun. Famfrit? I want to scream.
