The Rifles of the IRA

This was a big hit for The Wolfe Tones, taken from their 1969 album of the same name.
It was originally written by Dominic Behan and it mentions events such as the 1916 rising, the Irish civil war, the execution of Kevin Barry etc.
To this day, it remains a favourite among the rebel songs & I'm often asked to play it at live gigs.
